WEEKEND BRUNCH TO MGM GRAND
Debuting a new weekend brunch, PUB 1842 at MGM Grand will bring creative and playful fare by award-winning chef Michael Mina to the weekend’s favorite meal. Beginning June 16, brunch will be served 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday and includes a hearty menu with classics sure to engage feast fanatics, foodies, weekend warriors and the like who want to refuel through a delicious midday meal.
From a mix of sweet and savory snacks and starters to the restaurant’s most popular lunch items – including the irresistible 1842 Nachos, featuring layers of pork chili verde, shredded cheddar, ‘Merican cheese sauce, pico de gallo, black bean relish, fresno chilis, crema and green onions – brunch-goers can expect to find respite in a selection of snacks and light bites, hearty entrées, salads, cocktails and sultry sweets.
Highlights of the brunch menu include:
- The Pig and The Waffle: Carolina-style BBQ pulled pork with two over-easy eggs atop a cheddar-chive cornbread waffle and drizzled with chipotle crema.
- Smoked Beef Brisket Hash: Fried potatoes, jalapenos, red bell peppers, caramelized onions and two over-easy eggs mixed with succulent smoked beef brisket.
- Avocado & Lobster Toast: A soulful take on the avocado-toast trend, this savory breakfast favorite features guacamole, Maine lobster, cucumber, breakfast radish and lemon vinaigrette.
- Monte Cristo: Layers of country ham, roasted turkey and smoked gouda and swiss cheeses, plus raspberry chipotle compote for a touch of sweet.
To complement PUB 1842’s wholesome eats, guests can sip a BBQ Bloody Mary, created with a house-made mix, Jack Daniel’s whiskey, bitters, a dash of BBQ sauce and completed with a BBQ-spice rim and pickle and pepperoncini garnish; or a brunch classic, a Brunch Bellini made with white peach puree, lime juice, chai tea syrup, peach bitters and champagne.
