The three-time GRAMMY Award-winning and multi-platinum artists Zac Brown Band will bring their Great American Road Trip Tour to the MGM Grand Garden Arena Friday, Oct. 17. Special guest Sturgill Simpson will join Zac Brown Band for the show. The band’s three platinum-selling albums, Uncaged, You Get What You Give and The Foundation, together have sold more than six million copies and produced a historic series of 11 No. 1 hit singles. PHISH
The American rock band Phish recently announced a 12-date fall tour which concludes with three performances at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Phish performances blend musical improvisations, extended jams and various elements of a wide variety of genres including progressive rock, psychedelic rock, hard rock, jazz, funk, folk, bluegrass and blues. The band’s new album, Fuego, debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. Fuego was recently named one of the “10 Best Albums of 2014 so far” by Rolling Stone readers while NPR Music hailed it as Phish’s “finest work in more than a decade.”

15th ANNUAL LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS
The Latin GRAMMY Awards will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena Thursday, Nov. 20. The show will air in the United States on the UNIVISION Network from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET/PT. This year marks the seventh time Latin music’s most prestigious awards telecast will take place in Las Vegas and the first time at MGM Grand. This year’s nominations will be announced Wednesday, Sept. 24, with additional details to follow.

MGM GRAND MAIN EVENT
The MGM Grand Main Event, a new men’s college basketball tournament featuring eight teams will tip off November 24 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The event features two four-team brackets with each team playing two games November 24 and November 26. The Heavyweight bracket includes Auburn, Oklahoma State, Oregon State and Tulsa while the Middleweight bracket will feature Louisiana, Milwaukee, Oral Roberts and a final team to be announced. Eight additional games will be played at home sites preceding the games in Las Vegas.

Justin Timberlake will bring The 20/20 Experience World Tour back to the MGM Grand Garden Arena Friday, Nov. 28. In March 2013, the GRAMMY and Emmy Award-winning artist released The 20/20 Experience Part 1 of 2 which was certified double platinum in the U.S. and earned Timberlake the biggest first week sales for a male artist in five years. The album hit the No. 1 spot on iTunes in 93 countries and produced two chart-topping singles – “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors.” Continuing the musical journey, Timberlake released the highly anticipated The 20/20 Experience Part 2 of 2 in October 2013 featuring the singles “Take Back the Night,” “TKO” and “Not A Bad Thing.”

Legendary singer, songwriter, musician and producer Stevie Wonder recently announced the Songs in the Key of Life Performance, a more than 10-city tour across North America this fall, which includes a stop at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The tour will begin in New York in November and feature a live adaptation of the iconic Songs in the Key of Life. Throughout his career, the celebrated singer has amassed 49 Top 40 singles, 32 No. 1 singles and has received 25 GRAMMY Awards, an Oscar, a Golden Globe and is an inductee into the Rock and Roll, Songwriters’ and NAACP Halls of Fame.

The action returns in December when the University of Nevada, Las Vegas headlines the MGM Grand Showcase with its first appearance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The action tips off Saturday, Dec. 20 with Oklahoma versus Washington at 6 p.m. PT followed by the Runnin’ Rebels battling Utah at 8:30 p.m. Both games will be nationally televised with Oklahoma-Washington on ESPNU and UNLV-Utah on ESPN2.
