VICTOR ORTIZ VS. ANDRE BERTO II
In April 2011, Victor Ortiz and Andre Berto gave boxing fans one of the best fights of the year as Ortiz took home the WBC Welterweight Championship in a 12-round win over Berto. These two rugged and determined fighters will meet once again Saturday, Feb. 11 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Ortiz-Berto rematch marks the first time that SHOWTIME and CBS will join forces in support of a boxing event televised live on SHOWTIME.

Every two years on March 11 the multi-platinum group 311 holds a special concert event attracting thousands of fans worldwide.  The event is typically held in New Orleans and as a result, the Mayor of New Orleans officially proclaimed March 11 as “311 Day.” However, this year’s “311 Day” concert will move to the MGM Grand Garden Arena for two special performances Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11. With its fusion of rock, reggae and hip-hop, the band has released 10 studio albums, one live album and three DVDs, selling more than 8.5 million units in the U.S. The band’s most recent album is 2011’s Universal Pulse featuring the hit single “Sunset in July.”

Musical icon Neil Diamond, a 2011 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee and Kennedy Center Honoree, will take his greatest hits on the road with a highly anticipated North American tour and a stop at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, Sept. 1. The 2012 tour will feature all of Diamond’s classic favorites including “Forever In Blue Jeans,” “Cherry, Cherry,” “Sweet Caroline,” “I’m A Believer,” “Girl, You’ll Be A Woman Soon, ” “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers,” “Red, Red Wine” and “America,” among others. With a musical career spanning nearly five decades, Diamond has sold more than 125 million albums worldwide, 16 Top 10 albums and 37 Top 10 singles.

MGM Grand continues its tradition of bringing world-class entertainment to Las Vegas with a first from Paris: “MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris,” a show direct from one of the finest nightspots in the world, the original Crazy Horse. Since 1951, Crazy Horse has been famous for its productions celebrating beautiful women and the art of the nude. All 13 dancers in “MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris” are members of the original Paris dance troupe. Trained in ballet, the dancers perfectly integrate sensuous, provocative choreography as their bodies are bathed in richly colored and textured lighting designs. MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary.

Studio 54 is a high-energy nightclub comprised of two levels, four bars, one main dance floor, movable go-go cages and an exclusive VIP lounge. Diego, MGM Grand’s trendy Mexican eatery, turns up the heat every Friday and Saturday with Vida! Las Vegas’ Latin flavored dance party, Vida! combines the best in Latin music and modern flair as top Latin DJs spin the latest in Reggaeton, Spanish pop and rock and Cumbia beats. Vida! also features a twist on traditional bottle service as guests are treated to tableside cart service where mixologists create specialty concoctions and signature margaritas.

CENTRIFUGE
MGM Grand offers guests a chance to be the center of attention at Centrifuge, the 77-seat bar featuring live entertainment and an innovative drink menu. The bar comes alive nightly with a progressive music program and numerous freestyle and choreographed dance numbers. Centrifuge features specialty cocktails from each of MGM Grand’s signature restaurants, infusing them with fruit and displaying the innovative drinks around the bar in Louise Treize baccarat crystal bottles. Fruit-infused spirits include the Kentucky Peach served with peach-infused Woodford Reserve Bourbon, peach nectar, fresh sour and ginger ale and the Frida with strawberry pineapple-infused Patron tequila, lime and citronage.

CSI: THE EXPERIENCE
The popular worldwide phenomenon is now available at MGM Grand in the hometown of the original top-rated “CSI” television series – Las Vegas.  A challenging and fun multi-sensory attraction, CSI: The Experience places guests in the role of crime scene investigator as they solve one of three true-to-life mysteries. The average experience lasts between 60 and 90 minutes.

Prices: $30 per person (12 years and older); $23 per person (ages 4-11); second and third re-entries are priced at $15 and $10 for adults and children, respectively, with proof of prior admission; Family packs of four (two adults and two children under 11 years of age) are available for $75.
