Art lovers won’t need to travel to a galaxy far, far away to enjoy Star Wars Day. Beginning Sunday, May 4, 2025, officially-licensed Star Wars fine art from globally-renowned artists Rodel Gonzalez and Allison Lefcort will be showcased at Park West Gallery on the Las Vegas Strip.
Featuring original paintings of The Resistance, First Order, Jedi and more, the May the 4th Star Wars Collection, featuring the work of Rodel Gonzalez and Allison Lefcort, will be available at Park West Gallery at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace throughout May.
Rodel Gonzalez is an artist of inspirational talents with a keen eye for the beauty in the commonplace and grace in the ordinary. Gonzalez has also become widely known for his work as an officially licensed Disney Fine Artist, particularly his stirring paintings of iconic characters from Disney and Star Wars movies. Born in the Philippines, his early training required diligence and perseverance in acquiring the skills and discipline that would serve him well in his endeavors on his path to artistic freedom. He studied at the University of Santo Tomas, with a major in painting, and went on to earn a degree from the Philippine School of Interior Design. Gonzalez’s explorations of color, form, and composition ignited a lifelong passion for the arts in its many forms.
Dubbed “The Princess of Pop,” Allison Lefcort has been recognized by the art world as the “heir apparent” to the Pop Art throne. Not since Andy Warhol has one single artist made such a global impact on Pop Art. A bit of a star-gazer” is how the artist describes herself. Painting since early childhood, Lefcort has never lost sight of the stars. Starting with her first exhibition in The Greenwich Village Art Gallery in New York City at the age of seventeen, Lefcort’s work has been displayed in museums and fine art galleries around the world. In the 1990s, Lefcort began long associations with The Walt Disney Company and Warner Bros. Studios, each of whom granted her the rights to paint their iconic characters in her own interpretive style. She now brings the bold simplicity of her Pop art to some of the most beloved Disney and Warner Bros. characters in history. Lefcort’s paintings also are part of the permanent collections of The Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios Orlando, Warner Brothers Studios, Viacom’s MTV and VH1, Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Ellen DeGeneres, Barbra Streisand, Luciano Pavarotti, Her Royal Highness Queen Noor of Jordan, Hugh Hefner, Dionne Warwick, Tears for Fears, Ronnie Spector, The Indigo Girls, Liza Minelli, and the Warhol Family.
Mere steps from the famed Las Vegas Strip, guests have the opportunity to enjoy early masterworks by some of the greatest artists in history, including Salvador Dali, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Marc Chagall, and Pablo Picasso. In 2024, Park West Gallery introduced The Unknown Picasso: Treasures From the Family Collection, featuring many exceptionally rare, limited-edition lithographs from the legendary artist’s private estate. In the gallery collection, guests can browse Park West Gallery’s vast selection of art for sale and even take home original works by famed artists Peter Max, Mark Kostabi, Anatoly Metlan, Tim Yanke, Nano Lopez, and of course, the rock star of the art world, Las Vegas native Michael Godard.
