Series brings cocktails, culture and Las Vegas’ finest crew together to unveil a new side of nightlife
Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas announces the launch of The Collaborative – Cocktails. Crew. Culture. on Monday, October 21. Recognized for taking the nightlife scene to new levels, Marquee continues to push the envelope with this new series of interactive experiences.
A unique approach to the nightlife industry scene, this triple threat combination unravels both old and new culture along with the best mixology in town, all hosted by Las Vegas’ key innovators. Ranging from EDM acapella groups to witty and hot topic symposiums, The Collaborative will be the first of its kind in Las Vegas and a social pinnacle for nightlife evolution.
The current event line-up is as follows:
October 21 – The Bumby’s: A Fair and Honest Appraisal. Armed with manual typewriters and charming wit, anonymous New York performance artists Gill and Jill Bumby will offer up a personalized assessment on the spot.
November 11 – The Symposium Series: Tattoo Culture. Inside Marquee’s Library Room, Daniel Lowber of the web series Neon Roundtable will lead a provocative panel discussion on tattoo culture in Las Vegas and the world. Joining the discussion will be local industry influencers Austin Spencer from Studio 21 Tattoo Gallery/Tattoo Fight Club and others as well as Corey Nyman of The Nyman Group/Labor Wines and others.
November 18 – Fireside Sessions: Tekkno Flamenko. The first installment of The Collaborative’s Fireside Sessions inside Marquee’s Library Room will feature the electronica and classical guitar skill of Tekkno Flamenko, also known as Turbine. This team of talented musicians from some of the biggest shows on the Las Vegas strip includes guitarist and composer Elvis Lederer (Blue Man Group, Cirque du Soleil, Moby and Jill Scott), drummer and composer Jason Mackenroth (Blue Man Group), and music director, bassist and electronic musician Djeff (Cirque du Soleil).
