LVMPD Foundation’s Good Ticket Program
Recognizes Four LVMPD Officers For Positive Community Impact

WHAT:   The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation’s 2022 Good Ticket program announces the recognition of four LVMPD officers for their positive partnerships and good work with the community: Officers Rebecca Mauga, Marizela Razo, Casey Hausman and Carl Loskill.

Officers Mauga and Razo were selected for their mentorship of female students in CCSD schools.  They were nominated for their leadership and coaching to build confidence in female students, encourage them to stand up and speak out about things that are important to them, and how to give back to their community.

Officers Hausman and Loskill are recognized for their mentorship and intervention with Oleg Wash, a homeless, drug-addicted 23-year-old with multiple arrests. Officers Hausman and Loskill slowly established trust with Oleg, securing placement for him at CrossRoads of Southern Nevada, an inpatient rehab center. Wash is currently employed by the Salvation Adult Rehab Center, participating in outpatient programming, and continuing his road to recovery thanks to the concern and support of the officers.

The 2022 Good Ticket program is sponsored by Resorts World Las Vegas, which donates staycations to program recipients, including accommodations and dining experiences, as well as hosting the monthly award ceremonies. In 2022, 11 officers have been recognized with the Good Ticket for their constructive and positive actions.

“The Good Ticket program was established as a way for the public to recognize and support LVMPD officers, who day-in and day-out, work hard to keep our community safe,” said Tom Kovach, Executive Director, LVMPD Foundation.  “We appreciate Resorts World Las Vegas’ sponsorship of this program that allows us to salute officers’ positive community impact.”

A program of the LVMPD Foundation, which raises funds to support and supplement LVMPD programs and initiatives, including officer training, updated equipment, and positive community engagement activities, The Good Ticket is one of many programs designed to encourage support from the community for LVMPD.
