LVCVA presents Van with his “Hospitality Hero” Award!

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), in conjunction with National Travel & Tourism Week, is honoring exemplary employees who demonstrate superior customer service.  They are calling these employees “Hospitality Heroes” – those who go above and beyond to deliver the best customer service and show the best hospitality to every visitor they meet.  Van Fletcher, Banquet Food Server at the LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino for more than 43 years, was nominated by the hotel and won this illustrious title for 2014.

“Van serves each guest with a smile and personal touch that makes every guest feel like a VIP,” was just one piece of Van’s glowing nomination narrative from the LVH.

Van was presented his trophy by Ericka Aviles, Business Marketing Manager for the LVCVA on Monday, May 5, surrounded by LVH executives and many fellow Banquet Food Servers.  “I have been here many years,” said Van, “and I really appreciate every award I receive.  This one is very special and I’m so glad my fellow servers are here to share it with me!”
