ASYLUM and HOTEL FEAR TAKE UP RESIDENCE at MEADOWS MALL BEGINNING FRIDAY, OCT. 3
Nevada’s longest running haunted attraction is ready to scare the community!
The Asylum and Hotel Fear haunted houses return to Las Vegas in the Meadows Mall parking lot. The Asylum is southern Nevada’s longest running stand-alone haunted attraction celebrating its 16th year of thrills. Voted “TOP 13 HAUNT” by Hauntworld Magazine, the chilling Asylum and Hotel Fear will be open to brave visitors who crave an adrenaline rush on Oct. 3-4, Oct. 9-12, Oct. 16-19, Oct. 23-26, and Oct. 29-Nov. 1.
Established by RJ Productions, Asylum and Hotel Fear was created by visionary, Rich Strelak in 1999. Strelak is the only Vegas local haunt owner to lecture at the world’s largest Haunt trade show, TransWorld’s Halloween Haunt and Attraction Show, for over 12 years and has been a featured writer for the haunt industry. Over the years, he has shared his creative talent and passion teaching his skill to reputable family attractions, such as Disney, Universal and Six Flags. His well known masterpiece, the Asylum and Hotel Fear, are unique by interconnecting both themes into one terrifying story of the Vander and Feoray families. Met by chance, together by fate, bound by horror. Immerse yourself into the paranoid world of the Asylum and Hotel Fear. No gimmicks here, just good honest gut wrenching fear! “Do you know what scares you?…We do!”
The frightening experience will admit “patients” 6:30 p.m. to midnight Fridays- Saturdays and 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays, and will operate special Halloween weekend hours, 6:30 p.m. – midnight Oct. 30- 31 and Nov. 1. Tickets are $15 for a single attraction, $25 for a combo ticket that is a passport to fear for both haunts. VIP tickets are also available and discounts are found through Lotus Broadcasting (KOMP & POINT radio stations), Terrible Herbst, Sonic and Smith Food & Drug Stores.
During the month of October, The Asylum and Hotel Fear encourages the community to bring in a new and /or gently used coat to benefit local homeless organizations. As a thank you, each guest will receive one free entry to the haunted attractions, valid any Sunday or Thursday (except Oct 30th) during operating hours.
Additionally, a special no “monsters” behind the scenes, “Lights on Tour of Hotel Fear,” will be offered to little ones on Nov. 1 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. for a $2 donation which benefits the Nevada Broadcasters Association – Tony & Linda Bonnici Scholarship. The fund provides scholarships for passionate students who attend or are about to enter a college or university and will study in the field of broadcasting.
