Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant, Clique Hospitality’s acclaimed Mexican dining destination at Durango Casino & Resort, will host a Day of the Dead fiesta featuring vibrant entertainment and festive specialty cocktails from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1.

 

To bring the celebration to life, Mijo will be filled with sounds from a live DJ and percussionist paired with themed dancers, creating an immersive atmosphere for guests to enjoy. Throughout the night, guests can sip on handcrafted specialty cocktails made with Volcan Tequila including the La Sangre Valoma featuring Volcan Blanco tequila, lime, agave syrup and fresh blood orange juice, topped with soda water and priced at $18; or the Jalisco Mule crafted with Volcan Reposado tequila, lime and pear syrup, topped with ginger beer and a torched lime wheel garnish.

 

For a night that’s as filling as it is flavorful, guests can indulge in signature dishes that showcase Mijo’s innovative take on traditional Mexican cuisine. Highlights include the charred octopus, a 2-pound Puerto Nuevo grilled lobster and a shareable prime 55-ounce grilled tomahawk, one of the largest cuts in the city.
