Lion Yoga and Boo at the Zoo – Lion Habitat Ranch

Annual Yoga Gi Gong Fundraiser at the Lion Habitat Ranch – Yoga with the lions!


On Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th the Lion Habitat Ranch will be hosting the annual Yoga Qi Gong with certified instructors Doc Phineas and Sindi Keene.

Check in begins at 2:30pm, and class will promptly start at 3pm both days.  This event is for participants 15 or older. Registration fees are non-refundable.

 

October 7th and 8th:
– 1/2 hour of gentle yoga
– 1/2 hour of Qigong (Taught by Celebrity Guest Star Master Teacher Doc Phineas)
– Crystal bowl meditation after gentle yoga
– 30 minutes to explore the Lion Habitat Ranch

Standard Ticket: $40 per person when purchased September or later
VIP Ticket with 2pm check in (same price always): $100 per person for one day or $150 per person for both days.

VIP tickets include a half an hour Meet & Greet with Doc Phineas from Pawn Stars starting at 2pm.

Attendees are invited to mix and mingle and walk through the Lion Habitat Ranch after the event.

 

4th Annual Boo at the Zoo:

From Friday, October 27th to Sunday, October 29th, from 11am to 3pm, last admission is at 2pm, we will be celebrating Halloween at the Lion Habitat Ranch. This will be a limited 3-day event.

$25 for nonlocal admission or $20 for local admission. One adult admission also includes one child under 14 for free. Children 4 and under are always free.

Our animals will be receiving some Halloween themed enrichment throughout the day.

There will be some Trick-or-Treat stations around the property.

  • Costume Requirements: For the safety of all guests, costume masks and costume weapons may not be worn by guests 14 years of age or older. Masks worn by guests 14 years of age and younger must have openings that allow the eyes to be seen and that do not obstruct peripheral vision. All costumes must be family friendly for this family-oriented event.

 

  • Trick-or-treat bags: Support the Zoo’s efforts to reduce waste by bringing your own trick-or-treat bag from home!

 

  •  Costume Contest: At noon each day we will host a costume contest at Ozzie the giraffe. The winner will get to participate in our 12:30pm painting demonstration with Ozzie the giraffe and take their painting home with them!
  • There will be a scavenger hunt for everyone to learn more about extinction and conservation.

 

  •  We will have a few areas with Halloween decorations for the perfect photo opportunities.
