This year’s festival will feature an immersive art experience from Meow Wolf, featured works by some of the festival’s past collaborators, a collection of murals by local creators, and more
Life is Beautiful, Las Vegas’ premier three-day music, art, and culinary festival has revealed the roster of artists who will take over Downtown Las Vegas to create the iconic backdrop for the festival’s 10th anniversary, taking place Sept. 22-24. Tickets to Life is Beautiful are on sale now, and can be purchased here.
Featuring new-to-Life is Beautiful artists and longtime festival friends, this year’s fans can transport themselves to an immersive neighborhood bash at Meow Wolf’s Party in the SubOrbs; discover photo-worthy pieces by featured artists Eric Vozzola, Jerry Misko, Scott Froschauer, Andy Leek, and Neon Saltwater curated by JUSTKIDS; explore a variety of murals by talent local artists, curated by Paints With Care; view digital art throughout the festival by Mila May, Pretty Done, and Color Punch Creative; and take home arts, crafts, and wearable items from local artists and curators with a visit to Market in the Alley.

MEOW WOLF | PARTY IN THE SUBORBS
Slip into an atom of the greater Meow Wolf universe. This year, Meow Wolf is another friend in the Life is Beautiful neighborhood. Come join us for Party in the SubOrbs – an immersive treat to escape the heat, at the Western. Explore a tiny town full of friends; a mini-city full of inhabitants asking you to stay a while, have a Bev at Beavy Meadows, and watch those neighborhood antics unfold. Say howdy good ol’ salutations to our folks, with bingo eyes on the prize! More details to come…
FEATURED ARTISTS
Eric Vozzola | 2023 LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL LETTERS: Eric Vozzola is an artist and designer based in Las Vegas. Known for his vibrant color palettes and nods to the surrounding desert environment, Vozolla will use his signature style to reimagine the iconic Life is Beautiful letters for the 2023 festival, where fans can expect a vibrant backdrop that highlights his appreciation for abstraction, geometry, realism, color theory, and nature. In addition to working with Life is Beautiful on projects including murals and exclusive merchandise designs, Eric has shown work in solo and group shows locally and nationally, and has created murals and public artworks for clients and partners as Sunrise Children’s Hospital, Starbucks Corporation, Meow Wolf, Billy Strings, Nevada State College, the City of Las Vegas, and various private residences and businesses.
Jerry Misko | FREE ASPIRIN & TENDER SYMPATHY: Jerry Misko is a Las Vegas born artist who has worked with Life is Beautiful for a variety of projects over the years. Misko’s portfolio includes paintings and murals commissioned by the festival, the City of Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, MTV, and Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to name a few. His work can also be found in many private art collections across the globe. Misko’s work will be featured in various areas across the festival.
Scott Froschauer | WORD ON THE STREET: Scott Froschauer is an artist who lives and works in Los Angeles, creating work that is first and foremost experiential. Incorporating playfulness with concepts of connection and empathy, he surprises his audience with new perspectives and unexpected juxtapositions of ideas, materials and symbols. Froschauer is returning to the festival with his memorable collection of street signs featuring positive affirmations including “You are Fire”, once again transforming perspectives in the streets of Downtown Las Vegas.
Andy Leek | NOTES TO STRANGERS: For the last 7 years, London artist Andy Leek has been posting kind, encouraging, hopeful, and irreverent words on streets across the globe, including Downtown Las Vegas when he showcased his work at Life is Beautiful in 2019. Leek has created thousands of notes in over 25 countries, leaving a lasting impression on the audiences that come across his art. Sharable and impactful, his notes have been amplified by social media and highlights in major news networks such as the BBC, ABC, The Daily Mail and The Guardian – proving the undeniable power of kindness.
Neon Saltwater curated by JUSTKIDS: Neon Saltwater, the up-and-coming multimedia artist based in Seattle, is returning to the Life is Beautiful Festival after her highly remarked debut in 2022, with an immersive art installation that promises to captivate festival-goers. In collaboration with Life is Beautiful’s long-time art curator, JUSTKIDS, the installation titled Cherry Lake, invites visitors into the artist’s signature 80s dreamy world. Crafting digital environments with 3D modeling, Neon Saltwater weaves light, color, and nostalgia. Amid familiarity, her scenes contrast impossible sunsets, intricate color blends, and cinematic emotions. She translates her digital art into tangible experiential spaces, such as “Mystery Cruise,” featured at last year’s Life is Beautiful and set to return as well due to its success.
JUSTKIDS is a prominent art curation group known for spearheading ambitious and renowned art initiatives and projects internationally. JUSTKIDS has consecutively curated the Art Program for the Life is Beautiful since its inception in 2013, inviting hundreds of world-renowned national and international artists such as Shepard Fairey, Lakwena, Banksy, Felipe Pantone, Vhils, Camille Walala, and many more, to contribute permanent art installations, transforming the event footprint into a colorful playground, and adding to the ever-growing outdoor art gallery of DTLV. JUSTKIDS was awarded by the city of Las Vegas the top prize of the Urban Design Awards twice, for their curation for the Life is Beautiful Art Program and for the colossal triptych mural project at the Plaza Hotel.

Curated by Elliott and Jessica Demlow of Paints With Care in collaboration with Meow Wolf, the festival will also feature a variety of immersive and visually captivating movable murals, created by Las Vegas artists and showcased at the event throughout the weekend. Adding a vibrant and dynamic element to the event, this year’s art program is an homage to the thriving artistic community of Las Vegas, introducing festival attendees to the city’s incredible pool of creators.

DIGITAL ARTISTS
- Mila May: Mila May is a Ukrainian born artist who began her creative career during lockdown – a time when Downtown Las Vegas businesses wanted to add murals to their boarded up storefronts. Featured on limited-edition Big Dog Brewing beer cans made specifically for the festival, Mila’s art is inspired by nature, the universe, and everything. She uses bright colors, bold shapes and whimsical characters to explore imagined worlds as well as places based on history.
- Pretty Done: Pretty Done is a creative brand based on abstract, freestyle pop art. Hand-drawn characters, fonts, & design patterns are processed with creative color combinations, bold lines, and imaginary imagery. Using a mixture of mediums ranging from canvas paintings, spray painted street murals, customized clothing, immersive bathroom designs and always traditional ink & paper. The artwork is based on positive energy, fun meaningful messages, & abstract youthfulness which represents a unique universal language of ideas. This year, the artist’s work will line several festival walkways, adding to the event’s colorful backdrop.
- Color Punch Creative: Fans will also be surrounded by colorful designs created by Color Punch Creative, the Los Angeles-based creative studio that has indelibly shaped the vibrant visual identity of Life is Beautiful throughout the years. Their visionary partnership has yielded a kaleidoscopic of printed materials, stage designs, digital elements, and more, all seamlessly woven into the fabric of the festival’s experience. With an unrivaled ability to fuse artistic innovation with the festival’s core essence, Color Punch Creative has been the artistic cornerstone of Life is Beautiful, crafting a visual narrative that evolves with each passing year.
MARKET IN THE ALLEY
A returning feature of the festival since 2017, Life is Beautiful will once again host a special edition of Market in the Alley, presented by Owner, Curator and Local Entrepreneur Jen Taler. Featuring more than 45 local businesses, artists and curators, fans can explore an eclectic collection of handmade clothing, candles, art, one-of-kind jewelry, festival flare and more. Now in its sixth year, Market in the Alley regularly pops up around the Las Vegas Valley, with three monthly activations – in the Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas, at UnCommons in the southwest, and at The District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson – as well as at festivals like Life is Beautiful. Market in the Alley will be open within the festival grounds each day, giving art-lovers an opportunity to discover and take home unique and thoughtful pieces.
In addition to eclectic art, this year’s festival will also feature musical performances from The Killers, Kendrick Lamar, Odesza, The 1975, FLUME, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kim Petras, and many more. Additionally, fans will get to indulge in world class food offerings, experience popup shows from Las Vegas headliners, take home goodies from festival sponsors, and more.
