LAX Nightclub Brings Kid ‘n Play to Las Vegas for Throwback Thursday Pajama Jam at Luxor Hotel and Casino, March 24
Bust out the footed onesies and come down to LAX Nightclub at Luxor Hotel and Casino on Thursday, March 24, where Kid ‘n Play will host a very special Throwback Thursday Pajama Jam. The hip-hop duo, best known for the iconic “House Party” film series, popularized hi-top fades, eight ball jackets, and signature dance moves, such as the Funky Charleston. In true Pajama Jam form, guests are encouraged to don their favorite sleepy time wear, from flannel to nightgowns and everything in between, and party until it’s time for bed.

In honor of the “House Party” series, the Luxor Hotel and Casino nightlife hotspot will transform LAX Lounge into the ultimate house party, featuring beer pong tables, flip cup tournaments, and more.

Kid ‘n Play, composed of Christopher “Kid” Reid and Christopher “Play” Martin rose to prominence in the late ’80s with successful singles including Billboard chart toppers “Rollin’ with Kid ‘N Play,” “Funhouse,” and “Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody.” The duo is currently touring the country as part of the I Love the ’90s concert series, where they are performing with Coolio, Salt-N-Pepa, and Vanilla Ice, who kicked off LAX Nightclub’s tremendously successful Throwback Thursday series in January.

Every Thursday at LAX Nightclub, DJs spin favorite hits from the ’80s and ’90s, with several memorable Throwback performers hosting select nights throughout the year. Guests are encouraged to don their favorite fashion from the era to bring back the ambiance of the unforgettable decades.

On Thursday, March 10, West Coast hip-hop pioneer Too Short will take the stage. Known for hit songs “The Ghetto” and “Blow the Whistle,” Too Short holds the distinction of being one of the few artists to collaborate with both 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G. during the height of their careers.

LAX Nightclub ushered in 2016 on the eve of the New Year, by revealing state-of-the-art upgrades to its lighting and sound system, a LED feature surrounding the DJ booth, and sleek new design elements. Over the course of 2016, the venue plans to continue an aggressive rejuvenation, with heavy emphasis on the Throwback Thursday programming.
