Lawry’s The Prime Rib Las Vegas Partners With Three Square Food Bank For The Month Of September
For every $10 a guest donates, Lawry’s will give back $25 in rewards
During the month of September, Lawry’s The Prime Rib Las Vegas will team up with Three Square Food Bank to benefit their mission to provide wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community.
Beginning Sept. 1, for each $10 donation to Three Square, up to $50, VIP Rewards guests will receive a $25 bonus reward on their loyalty account to use the next time they dine at any of Lawry’s restaurants. Non-loyalty members will receive $25 rewards should they donate a minimum of $10 and sign up for the VIP Rewards program. For the first time, guests will also be able to donate to Three Square Food Bank when placing take-out orders through lawryslasvegas.com.
“We are proud to partner with Three Square throughout the month of September and educate our guests on the integral role this organization plays in the Las Vegas community,” said Lawry’s The Prime Rib Las Vegas Sales & Marketing Manager Michelle Rizzo. “Due to how COVID-19 has affected our community, it’s more important than ever to help during this extremely difficult time. We encourage our guests to stop by our restaurant, enjoy some delicious food and donate to a great cause.”
Three Square estimates more than 447,000 Southern Nevadans, including approximately 171,000 children, will experience food insecurity this year. With unemployment at an all-time high and children not returning to classrooms due to the Coronavirus, the child food insecurity rate has increased from 19.5% up to 33.4%, leaving one in three children in Southern Nevada living in a food-insecure household.
“As the demand for food assistance continues to rise, community support is essential, so we’re grateful to Lawry’s The Prime Rib Las Vegas for partnering with us and helping to provide as many meals as possible for those in need,” said Three Square President and CEO Brian Burton.

About Three Square Food Bank
Three Square is Southern Nevada’s only food bank and largest hunger relief organization, serving Las Vegas and all of Clark, Lincoln, Esmeralda, and Nye counties. Since opening in 2007, Three Square has provided more than 385 million pounds of food to hundreds of thousands of people in need and earned a reputation as one of the most efficient and effective food banks in the country. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Three Square immediately implemented a disaster response plan to answer sudden school and business closures, drastic declines in retail food donations, social distancing limitations on volunteer efforts, reduced on-site staff support, and the need for low-contact food distributions. Within days, Three Square had increased food distribution by 250,000 meals a week and increased the capacity of its Call Center to refer Southern Nevadans to available food resources, social services, and unemployment benefits. While Three Square’s COVID-19 relief efforts have superseded regular programs and operations for the foreseeable future, it is more committed than ever to its mission of providing wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community. Three Square is a member of the Feeding America network of food banks.
