L.A. Comedy Club inside The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower will put a bow on 2024 with a star-studded lineup guaranteed to deliver big laughs all December. The L.A. Comedy Club, dubbed “The younger rebel brother of Improv by Casino Player Magazine, has been entertaining Las Vegas locals and visitors since 2007. Known as the spot where comedy comes to party, the repeat Best of Las Vegas gold award winner has relocated its famed Dragon Room to a custom-built 270-seat showroom on the main casino floor at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower.

  • 6 p.m., Monday through Sunday: Happy Hour Show Starring Julio Gonzalez

Julio Gonzalez, a rising star in the comedy scene, is known nationwide for his storytelling comedic style using his life experiences such as weight loss, relationships, society, women and living life to the fullest. Gonzalez also uses his platform and talents as a comedian to help others through his various charity shows and is committed to being the change he wants to see in the world.

  • 10 p.m. Thursday through Monday: Butch Bradley

Comedic veteran, Butch Bradley, grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and started his comedy career by becoming a founding member of the Boston Improv Troupe. Bradley has been the opening act for comedic legends like Ray Romano, Lewis Black and Cathy Ladman and has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, has been a regular on “The Late Late Show” and toured festivals such as the “Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival,” the “Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” and made an appearance as a USO Entertainer. Bradley has received the gold award for “Best Comedian” for three consecutive years from the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards. Bradley’s comedy special, “Butch Bradley: From Las Vegas” is currently available on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen on the big screen in the recently released film “Reagan” starring Dennis Quaid.

  • 10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Bret Ernst

Bret Ernst, born and raised in New Jersey, was one of four comedians featured in “Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days and 30 Nights—Hollywood to the Heartland,” has appeared on television shows like “Comedy Central Presents,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Weeds” and has a recurring role on Netflix’s hit series, “Cobra Kai.” Ernst’s jokes are rooted in storytelling, giving the audience an inside look at the life of a typical North Jersey Italian kid in the 1980s.

  • Monday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 8: Kabir Singh featuring Ralph Tutela

Kabir Kabeezy Singh has been a touring headliner for almost a decade after receiving a standing ovation and four “yes” votes on NBCs America’s Got Talent in 2021. Singh has performed on the Comedy Central hit show, Gabriel Iglesiass Stand-Up Revolution” and has won multiple comedy competitions, including the 2014 “SF International Comedy Competition. At that competition he was the first person in the 39-year history of the show to come in first place in all five of the final rounds. Singh has also shared the stage with comedy stars like Dave Chappelle, Jo Koy and Russell Peters as well as regularly touring with Anjelah Johnson and Aries Spears.

 

Ralph Tutela is a Boston native who grew up in New Hampshire and now brings laughter all over Las Vegas captivating audiences with his well-rounded, non-political comedy. He never takes life too seriously and his hilarious observations have led him to be featured with big names like Pauly D and opening for Steve Trivino. Tutela has also hosted his own version of “Gong Show.                               

  • Monday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 15: Keon Polee featuring Brady Matthews

Keon Polee, a comedian and actor from the California Bay Area, honed his comedy skills in San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles. Polee has been featured on television shows including “We Got Next” on AspireTV, “Laughs” on Fox, “Tony Baker and Friends” on Amazon Prime and “Laff Mob’s Laff Tracks” on TruTV. Polee has performed all over the United States and made his way around the world performing in countries like South Korea, Japan and Canada.

 

Brady Matthews is a talented self-taught artist as well as touring comedian. As a regular at the legendary World Comedy Store in Los Angeles, Brady’s infectious humor and unparalleled creativity has gained a respectable following including acclaimed figures like Theo Von, Joe Rogan, Bobby Lee and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Brady’s artistic masterpieces inspired by beloved icons such as Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, Bill Murray and Mitch Hedberg decorate the walls of the custom built L.A. Comedy Club at The STRAT.

  • Monday, Dec. 16 through Sunday, Dec. 22: Carlos Rodriguez featuring Ricky Reyes

Carlos Rodriguez lets his inner child come out on stage full of passion, excitement and energy with stories about life and his childhood experiences growing up in a large family. His clever and approachable style of comedy has taken him to some of the most prestigious clubs across the country and in Las Vegas. He also featured on Comedy Central’s “Up Next,” and Hulu’s “Quick Laffs.” He also participated in the World Series of Comedy; the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, where he was a finalist; and the SLO Comedy Festival, where he was voted Best of the Fest in 2016 and 2018. Named “Best Comic in Sacramento” by Sacramento News & Review for three consecutive years from 2013 to 2015, he has headlined multiple international tours for American military overseas.

 

Ricky Reyes, a Cleveland, Ohio native, is one of the freshest rising comedians in the country. With a charismatic combination of likeability, stage presence and relentless joke-telling, he rapidly has become one of the most sought after comedians in the business. While Reyes can be found touring comedy clubs and colleges throughout the country, he can also be heard on XM/Sirius Radio on shows like “Nobody Likes Onions” with Patrick Melton, “El Chupapodcast” with Pedro Lima and on The SBK Show on RealRadio 104.1 in Orlando. Reyes has also made an appearance on “Rooftop Comedy’s Road Trip” found on MavTV.

  • Monday, Dec. 23 through Sunday, Dec. 29: Edwin San Juan featuring DJ Sandhu
    Edwin San Juan is known for sharing his multicultural life experiences, observational humor and hilarious word play. San Juan made his first film debut with co-stars Felipe Esparza and Paul Rodriguez in Im Not Like That No More in 2010. He has entertained American troops on the USO tour Around the World in Eight Days and made various television appearances including Comedy Centrals Live at Gotham, Showtime’s Comics without Borders, BETs Comic Viewand  The Payaso Comedy Slam on Showtime and many others. Voted Best Comedian on the Las Vegas Strip,by Las Vegas Weekly, San Juan is also the creator and executive producer of SlantED Comedy, a showcase of Asian American stand-up comedians available on Showtime.

 

DJ Sandhu, recognized for his sharp humor and signature beard, has captivated audiences with his offbeat take on life. Originally from Sacramento, California, Sandhu traded a potential career in medicine for the spotlight, delivering his outrageous insights to comedy fans instead of patients, much to his parents’ dismay. His career has taken him to prestigious stages, including the World Series of Comedy and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Along the way, he has performed alongside renowned comedians such as Bret Ernst, Dat Phan, Carl LaBove, Tommy Davidson and Godfrey, leaving his mother still hoping he might reconsider his career path.

  • Monday, Dec. 30 through Sunday, Jan. 5: Big Irish Jay Hollingsworth featuring Ron Josol

Jay Big Irish” Hollingsworth, originally from the Pacific Northwest, moved to the east coast to hone his comedic skills across the stages of Boston, Massachusetts. Hollingsworth earned first place in both the March Comedy Madness Competition” and The Best of Boston” as well as being a finalist in the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition,The Shades of Laughs Comedy Competition, “Magners USA Comedy Festival and the “Bend International Comedy Competition. His television appearances include CBS’s “2 Broke Girls,” “Love at First Cousin,” “The Family Exchange ” and more. Along with starting his own podcasts, “The HollingsWorthless Program,” “Love in Black & White” and “F**king Boo! Bombing Stories, Hollingsworth has made guest appearances on some of the country’s top-rated shows like About Last Night, Robert Kelly’s “You Know What Dude,” Greg Fitzsimmons “Fitzdog Radio” and Doug Benson’s “Doug Loves Movies” and “Benson Interruption.”

 

Ron Josol is a Filipino-Canadian who has taken his comedy worldwide, from the Persian Gulf to the Pacific Islands. In his second year of performing as a comedian, he won the “Craven A’s Funniest Homegrown Competition” at the “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival. He has been featured on ABS-CBN Asia and Omni as well as has appeared on numerous stand-up comedy specials, including “Ethnical Difficulties” on CBC and “Comedy Now!” on The Comedy Network.
