HARD ROCK CAFES IN LAS VEGAS CONTINUE PHILANTHROPIC “ROCK THE CAUSE” MOVEMENT
FOCUSING ON OUR BELOVED MILITARY FOR THE MONTH OF JULY
In the spirit of their motto of “Take Time to Be Kind”, both Hard Rock Cafe locations in Las Vegas are continuing their year-long “Rock the Cause” philanthropic movement. The cafes will choose a specific cause each month and activate by doing volunteer work, raising funds or collecting items for different charitable organizations throughout Las Vegas and Southern Nevada.
The Hard Rock Cafes in Vegas continue supporting the community through a wide range of philanthropic activities. During the month of July the cafes will turn their focus on our military. To show their appreciation, both Las Vegas Hard Rock Cafe locations will increase their military discount to 20% from July 1 – 31. This 20% is valid in the Rock Shop as well as the restaurant. Proof of military ID must be presented for discount.
During the month of July both Las Vegas Cafes will be holding a cell phone drive for soldiers. Each Cafe is stocked with donation bins and envelopes. Bring your old cell phones to either location to donate or take home an envelope, coded to Hard Rock Cafe, and mail your old cell phones in to Cell Phones for Soldiers. Phones do not have to be in working order as they use parts from old phones as well. So grab your old phones and bring them to the Hard Rock Cafes and help soldiers abroad connect with their loved ones.
Saturday, July 14 U2 tribute bands The Joshua Tree and Elevation will be performing at Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip. The bands will be performing the Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby albums in their entirety. Tickets for the show are $20 and $10 for those who donate a phone for Cell Phones for Soldiers. Doors open at 8 pm and show time is at 9 pm.
