51s INDIVIDUAL GAME TICKETS GO ON SALE MONDAY,
MARCH 10; SEASON & HOME OPENER ON THURSDAY,
APRIL 3 VS. FRESNO GRIZZLIES AT CASHMAN FIELD
The Las Vegas 51s professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets & 2013 Pacific Southern Division Champions, announced today that individual game tickets for the 2014 season will go on sale on Monday, March 10 at Noon at the Cashman Field box office. The box office is open Monday-Friday from Noon to 4:30 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased through Ticketmaster (1-800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com ).
Ticketmaster outlets are located at selected Smith’s Food & Drug.
The individual game tickets for the 72-game home season are priced at $10.00 (reserved, $11.00-Day of Game), $13.00 (plaza, $14.00-Day of Game) and $14 (field, $15.00-Day of Game). The traditional $2.00 discount for Military personnel is offered on plaza and reserved seats throughout the season except for the “Fireworks Extravaganza” on Thursday, July 3 (ALL SEATS PRICED AT $15.00 for this special event).
The 51s have an exciting list of promotions for the 2014 season. The traditional fireworks shows, Budweiser Dollar Beer Nights, Jersey giveaway nights and Kids Carnival (May 31) will highlight the promotion dates. “Value Menu Monday” will return for the sixth season with hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, cracker jacks and pretzels all priced at $1.00 per item!
The top 51s giveaway items include: 51s BP Windbreaker Night (April 5); LV 51s Red Jersey Night (April 26); Folding Chair Night (May 10); 51s Hat Night (June 6); LV 51s Pink Pinstripe Jersey Night/Komen Night (June 21); 51s Bucket Hat Night (July 11); LV 51s Wally Backman Replica Jersey Night (July 12); Throwback Stars Jersey Night (August 1); 51s Back Pack Night (August 8); Wally Backman Bobblehead Night (August 9) and LV 51s Pinstripe Jersey (Mets Style) Night/Fan Appreciation Night (August 23).
The 51s, under manager Wally Backman, will open their 32nd season in the Silver State on Thursday, April 3 against the Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, at 7:05 p.m. at Cashman Field. Las Vegas will open the 2014 campaign with an eight-game homestand against Fresno (April 3-6) and Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland A’s, from April 7-10.
