Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas announced today its partnership with Off the Field NFL Wives Association, a non-profit organization whose mission is to unite and empower its members to perform and support philanthropic initiatives that enhance the quality of life for families in their communities. On Friday, Feb. 9, Off the Field, in collaboration with The Shoppes, will hold its 23rd Annual Charity Event at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas as one of the kick-off events for The Big Game in the host city.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Off The Field NFL Wives Association for this eloquent event, supporting The Biletnikoff Foundation,” said Christopher White, Senior General Manager at Grand Canal Shoppes inside The Venetian Resort. “This event will be an incredible opportunity for the global brands at the destination to kick-off the exciting weekend and support our community in a great way.”
Known as a marquee event of The Big Game week, the Off The Field Annual Charity Fashion Show was created to support local and national charities in a unique way. The elegant event will star over 50 NFL spouses and retired players, featuring collections from various global brands from The Shoppes. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the charity beneficiary, The Biletnikoff Foundation, founded to commemorate former Oakland Raider Hall of Famer Fred Biletnikoff’s daughter, Tracey Biletnikoff’s life and her untimely death, providing support for youth in the community and education programs that effectively address the related problems of substance abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Additionally, during this event, Off The Field will recognize impactful community leaders from the host city for The Big Game and inspirational members from their organization.
