LADY REBELS PLAY EXHIBITION GAME WEDNESDAY NIGHT
UNLV hosts Chico State for preseason tune-up
The UNLV women’s basketball team plays its lone exhibition game Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the Cox Pavilion.
The Lady Rebels host Division II Chico State at 6:30 p.m. This exhibition game will not be broadcast on radio, television or the internet.
Tickets are $6 when purchased in advance online at UNLVTickets.com. General admission tickets at the door are $10 ($8 for seniors; UNLV faculty, staff and alumni). UNLV students and Nevada high school students (presenting student ID) as well as all children 12 and under enter free.
UNLV returns 91 percent of its scoring from the team that swept the 2022 Mountain West Conference regular-season and tournament championships. UNLV is predicted to top the league again in 2023.
Junior center Desi-Rae Young was selected as the conference’s preseason player of the year. Fellow Las Vegan Essence Booker joined Young on the five-member Preseason All-Mountain West Team.
Fan-favorite Justice Ethridge, 3-point shooting leader Alyssa Durazo-Frescas and reigning Mountain West Sixth Player fo the Year Nneka Obiazor are all league award winners returning to the lineup this season.
