LADY REBELS ANNOUNCE 24-25 NON-CONFERENCE SLATE
UNLV hosts its Thanksgiving Classic and has marquee home game against Oklahoma
The 2024-25 UNLV women’s basketball non-conference schedule was revealed today, as announced by head coach Lindy La Rocque who enters her fifth season at the helm of the program. The Lady Rebels will play a 12-game non-conference slate for its 50th anniversary season. The non-conference opponents hail from nine different conferences.
The three-time defending Mountain West champions will play an exhibition contest against Point Loma on Tuesday, October 29, before officially opening the 24-25 campaign on home court as Loyola Marymount will come to town on Monday, Nov. 4. UNLV then hosts Northern Arizona on Thursday, Nov. 7 before making its first road trip of the season to Arizona on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
UNLV will then gear up for a three-game home stand beginning with Stonehill on Friday, Nov. 15, followed by San Diego on Tuesday, Nov. 19 and Oklahoma on Friday, Nov. 22 at the Thomas & Mack Center.
After traveling last season for Thanksgiving, the Lady Rebels are back hosting the UNLV Thanksgiving Classic from Wednesday, Nov. 27 to Friday, Nov. 29, which will feature East Carolina, Central Florida and Montana State. Following the Thanksgiving holiday, the National Finals Rodeo occupies UNLV’s facilities and the Lady Rebels will hit the road for three games before closing out the non-conference slate at home.
The first stop of the road trip in December will be a visit to Waco, Texas to face Baylor on Sunday, Dec. 8. The Lady Rebels will come home before heading back out on the road to the Windy City for a week. UNLV will play at DePaul on Sunday, Dec. 15 and then Northwestern on Wednesday, Dec. 18. The Lady Rebels will close out non-conference with a home game against UC Riverside on Saturday, Dec. 21.
The full Mountain West schedule will be announced at a later date.
