Critics Applaud Trio for “Stretching” on “Groovy, Horn-Driven” New Single
Seven-time GRAMMY awarding winning group Lady Antebellum heads to the West Coast this week for the television debut of their just-released “You Look Good.” Serving as the lead track off their forthcoming sixth studio album HEART BREAK (Capitol Nashville) available June 9, the trio will perform the “funky, grooving song” (Rolling Stone) on The Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow (1/24, check local listings), before stopping by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday (1/25 at 10:35P CT on ABC).
With the announcement of their new single, new album and upcoming YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR last week, the group’s excitement was infections among both critics who noted “Lady Antebellum is ready to crank it up again” (Billboard) and fans as the “swaggering new song” (Atlanta Journal Constitution) bolted to the top of the iTunes Country Songs chart upon release where it continues to hold in the Top 5.
“The single mixes a dazzling horn section with a swaggering bass riff that reflects the band’s sun-filled days in the Hollywood Hills and white sand beaches of Florida.” – Associated Press
“This actually makes the third straight time Lady A has stretched the perception of who they are while introducing a new project.” – Taste of Country
Beginning Friday (1/27), fans will be able to purchase tickets to first announced YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR dates with special guests Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young as part of Live Nation’s Country Megatickets. Lady A will continue to announce more than 65 shows in six countries over the coming weeks. For more information about new music and upcoming tour dates, visit www.ladyantebellum.com.
