Touring comics Trixx, Shang, Jason Cheny, Quinn Dahle and Marc Ryan will
take the Dragon Room stage in November, joining the award-winning club’s regular lineup  

 

L.A. Comedy Club has announced a side-splitting November lineup for the club’s custom new Dragon Room showroom at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower. Trixx, Shang, Jason Cheny, Quinn Dahle and Marc Ryan, whose combined credits span NBC, CBS, FOX, BET, HBO, Comedy Central and more, will headline the club’s 8 p.m. shows. The club’s lineup of popular resident comics also include the nightly Happy Hour Variety Show starring Julio Gonzalez at 6 p.m.; comedian Butch Bradley at 10 p.m. Thursday through Monday; and comedian Bret Ernst at 10 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The L.A. Comedy Club, dubbed “The younger rebel brother of Improv” by Casino Player Magazine, has been entertaining Las Vegas locals and visitors since 2007. Known as the spot “where comedy comes to party,” the repeat “Best of Las Vegas” gold award winner has recently relocated its famed Dragon Room to a custom-built 270-seat showroom on the main casino floor at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower.

Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their guardian. No minors under the age of 15 are allowed in the showroom. Julio Gonzalez, a rising star in comedy scene, is known nationwide for his storytelling comedic style using experiences from his life such as weight loss, relationships, society, women and living life to the fullest. Gonzalez also uses his platform and talents as a comedian to help others through his various charity shows and is committed to being the change he wants to see in the world.

  • 10 p.m. Thursday through Monday: Butch Bradley

Comedic veteran, Butch Bradley, grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and started his comedy career by becoming a founding member of the Boston Improv Troupe. Bradley has been the opening act for comedic legends like Ray Romano, Lewis Black and Cathy Ladman and has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, has been a regular on “The Late Late Show” and toured festivals such as the “Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival,” the “Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” and made an appearance as a USO Entertainer. Bradley has received the gold award for “Best Comedian” for three consecutive years by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards. Bradley’s comedy special, “Butch Bradley: From Las Vegas” is currently available on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen on the big screen in the upcoming film “Reagan” starring Dennis Quaid.

  • 10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Bret Ernst

Bret Ernst, born and raised in New Jersey, was one of four comedians featured in “Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days and 30 Nights—Hollywood to the Heartland,” has appeared on television shows like “Comedy Central Presents,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Weeds” and has a recurring role on Netflix’s hit series, “Cobra Kai.” Ernst’s jokes are rooted in storytelling, giving the audience an inside look at the life of a typical North Jersey Italian kid in the 1980s.

  • Monday, Oct. 30 through Sunday, Nov. 5: Trixx with special guests

Frankie Agyemang, famously known as “TRIXX,” a moniker earned through mischievous antics in his hometown of Mississauga, Ontario. A relentless comedic force, TRIXX burst onto the comedy scene with his triumphant one-man show “Mistrial” in 2009. He was a finalist in “The Great Canadian Laugh-Off” and winner of the “Just For Laughs: JFL42 Big Break Competition” in 2013. TRIXX has shared stages with luminaries including Tracy Morgan of “30 Rock” and “SNL,” Damon Wayans of “In Living Color,” Cedric the Entertainer, Mike Epps from “The Hangover” saga, Aries Spears of “MADtv” and Sugar Sammy of HBO’s “Canada.” Additionally, he’s had the distinct honor of opening for his close confidant and mentor, Russell Peters.

  • Monday, Nov. 6 through Sunday, Nov. 12: Shang with special guests

Shang is a fearless New York firebrand whose comedy blazes through social and political landscapes. A 2011 Famecast Comedy Winner, Shang has been featured on numerous comedy programs including CBS’ “The Late Late Show,” HBO’s “Def Jam & Poetry” and Comedy Central’s “Jamie Foxx Laffapaloolza,” among others. A two-time winner of BET’s “Comic View Grandstand,” his credits also include guest roles on NBC’s “Heroes” and CBS’ “CSI” and “NCIS” as well as feature films “Divine Intervention” and “Trunked!”

  • Monday, Nov. 13 through Sunday, Nov. 19: Jason Cheny with special guests

Jason Cheny, originally from Taiwan, is a maestro of mirth. With a multi-cultural perspective and goofy personality, Cheny’s comedy centers on the social absurdities and the balance between his upbringing and the world he lives in.With a comedy passport stamped from Singapore, Hong Kong and the heart of his homeland,  plus all 50 states,Cheny’s laughter-laden style is a testament to the relatability of his comedy..He has opened for Ronny Chieng and Iliza Shlesinger as well as appeared on Comedy Central’s “Featuring” and Kevin Hart’s LOL Network on SiriusXM.   • Monday, Nov. 20 through Saturday, Nov. 26: Quinn Dahle with special guests

Hailing from the heart of Minnesota, Quinn Dahle has life experiences that crosses different age groups and ethnicities, and he is not afraid to share them through is comedy.Known for his comedic and improvisational crowd work, he has developed a universal audience that keeps coming back for more. His impressive resume includes appearances on “The Tonight Show,” Showtime, Comedy Central, “Lopez Tonight,” and “Carson Daly.” He has also shared the stage with comedy legends such as Robin Williams, Tim Allen, Bill Maher, Tommy Chong and Brad Garrett.

  • Monday, Nov. 27 through Saturday, Dec. 3: Marc Ryan with special guests

Marc Ryan is a comedian, writer and television personality from Louisiana. His passion for comedy began during his high school years, while engrossed in late-night comedy shows. After honing his craft at open mics in New Orleans, he became a writer for former NBC president, Brandon Tartikoff. Ryan’s comedic odyssey includes NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” CMT’s “Greatest Redneck Moments,” Comedy Central’s “Best of the Improv,” as well as the TBS special “Pit Stop Comedy” and “The Parkers” with fellow comedian Monique. With five comedy albums that regularly air on SiriusXM Radio, his humor is a familiar guest in households across the nation. He has also embarked on national and international tours, bringing his brand of Louisiana laughter to stages far and wide. Recently, Ryan has taken the modern age of comedy by storm, garnering hundreds of millions of views on his videos and over 1 million social media followers.
