L.A. Comedy Club at The STRAT to Pack
October with Laughs All Month Long
Touring comics Todd Rexx, KT Tatara, Landry, Nikki Carr and Trixx
will take the Dragon Room stage in October, joining the award-winning club’s regular lineup
L.A. Comedy Club has announced a hilarious October lineup for the club’s custom new Dragon Room showroom at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower. Todd Rexx, KT Tatara, Landry, Nikki Carr and Trixx, whose combined credits span NBC, CBS, FOX, BET, HBO, Comedy Central and more, will headline the club’s 8 p.m. shows. In addition, Laugh After Dark will host special shows at 6 and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1. Tickets are available for purchase here.
The club’s lineup of popular resident comics also include the nightly Happy Hour Variety Show starring Julio Gonzalez at 6 p.m.; comedian Butch Bradley at 10 p.m. Thursday through Monday; and comedian Bret Ernst at 10 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The L.A. Comedy Club, dubbed “The younger rebel brother of Improv” by Casino Player Magazine, has been entertaining Las Vegas locals and visitors since 2007. Known as the spot “where comedy comes to party,” the repeat “Best of Las Vegas” gold award winner has recently relocated its famed Dragon Room to a custom-built 270-seat showroom on the main casino floor at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower.

Julio Gonzalez, a relative newcomer to the Vegas comedy scene, is known nationwide for his storytelling comedic style using experiences from his life such as weight loss, relationships, society, women and living life to the fullest. Along with his standup career, Gonzalez is known for helping others through his various charity shows and is committed to being the change he wants to see in the world.

Comedic veteran, Butch Bradley, grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and started his comedy career by becoming a founding member of the Boston Improv Troupe. Bradley has been the opening act for comedic legends like Ray Romano, Lewis Black and Cathy Ladman and has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, has been a regular on “The Late Late Show” and toured festivals such as the “Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival,” the “Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” and made an appearance as a USO Entertainer. Bradley has received the gold award for “Best Comedian” for three consecutive years by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards. Bradley’s comedy special, “Butch Bradley: From Las Vegas” is currently available on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen on the big screen in the upcoming film “Reagan” starring Dennis Quaid.
- 10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Bret Ernst
Bret Ernst, born and raised in New Jersey, was one of four comedians featured in “Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days and 30 Nights—Hollywood to the Heartland,” has appeared on television shows like “Comedy Central Presents,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Weeds” and has a recurring role on Netflix’s hit series, “Cobra Kai.” Ernst’s jokes are rooted in storytelling, giving the audience an inside look at the life of a typical North Jersey Italian kid in the 1980s.

Todd Rexx, known throughout the comedy world as “T-Rexx” is a New Jersey native, who made his debut on the comedy scene in 1992 when he took the stage at The Comedy Café in Washington, D.C. Since then, he has been winning over audiences with his over-the-top impersonations and brilliant crowd interaction ever since. Rexx has made numerous television appearances including BET’s “Comic View,” “The Tonight Show,” and HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam All-Stars” among others. His comedic talents have taken him all around the globe as he has performed in Europe, Japan, Canada, Mexico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and nearly every state in the country.

Originally from the nation’s capital, KT Tatara has performed at the prestigious “Just For Laughs Comedy Festival” five times. Tatara has made numerous television appearances including NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” FOX’s “Lethal Weapon,” ABC Family’s “Greek” and CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother.” His podcast, “The K.T. Landry, originally from Kitchener, Ontario, began his comedy career in 2006 and has become best known for his charismatic performance style. Having made his mark on the Canadian comedy world, he moved to Atlanta in 2007 to join the American comedy scene. In 2010, Landry took the title of “Best Male Comic” in the Atlanta Stand Up awards, was a finalist for NBC’s “Stand Up for Diversity Showcase,” starred in TVONE’s “Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?,” was the first winner of the Punchline Club’s “64 Comedian Super Comedy Competition” along with winning “The Boston Comedy Festival” in 2011. Landry’s diverse comedy style makes his jokes appealing to audiences from all walks of life.
- Sunday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, Oct. 29: Nikki Carr with special guests
Nikki Carr weaves her life experiences as a woman, lesbian, mother and grandmother into her hilarious stand-up routines. She has appeared on several TV shows and comedy specials including BET’s “Comic View,” “One Mic Stand” with Kevin Hart, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and Martin Lawrence’s “1st Amendment Stand Up.” Her impressive resume also includes independent films like “Gold Digger Killer,” Change the Game” and “Ass Backwards” with Alicia Silverstone and Jon Cryer. Carr has also performed all over the world, including at military bases in Kuwait and Iraq.

Frankie Agyemang, known as “Trixx,” earned his name from being a prankster while growing up in Mississauga, Ontario. Having his first successful one-man show “Mistrial” in July 2009, Trixx has been non-stop in his pursuit for big laughs in the comedy world. He was a finalist in “The Great Canadian Laugh-Off” and winner of “Just For Laughs: JFL42 Big Break Competition” in 2013. Trixx has opened for stars such as Tracy Morgan, Damon Wayans, Cedric the Entertainer, Mike Epps, Aries Spears and Sugar Sammy as well as for his good friend and mentor, Russell Peters.
