Library Card Sign-Up Month is right around the corner and the advantages of signing up for a library card are better than ever, so be sure to join the excitement starting on Sept. 1. This annual celebration showcases the extensive range of resources the library has to offer – not only books, but also interactive technology, FREE tutoring, art exhibits, live performances, job training, language classes, and a wealth of other FREE opportunities! During the month of September, your library card is your ticket for a chance to win one of these prizes, including:
- #GetCarded with the Vegas Golden Knights Shirts
- Library District branded hats
- Raiders hats
- A pair of tickets to a Vegas Golden Knights home game
- A pair of tickets to a Raiders home game
Just visit your local Las Vegas-Clark County Library District branch, and choose one of several fun library card designs, from the sparkly gold Vegas Golden Knights card to the neon I Love My Library card (available in English or Spanish), and more. Then go to the Library Card Sign-Up Month page on our website and use your library card to enter for a chance to win VGK tickets, T-shirts, Raiders tickets, or hats! Existing library cardholders can enter to win, as well.

So don’t miss your chance to learn about the power of a library card during Library Card Sign-Up Month. Cardholders can enter the prize giveaway online at TheLibraryDistrict.org/Giveaway. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Sept. 30, 2024. Winners will be selected in a random drawing in October and notified by email.
