Moreno (21-8-2, fighting out of Tijuana, Mexico) looks to cap off his year with a statement-making performance. A two-time UFC flyweight champion, he holds spectacular victories over Deiveson Figueiredo, Kai Kara-France and Brandon Royval. Moreno now aims to halt Albazi’s momentum to set himself up for another world title opportunity.
Albazi (17-1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nev. by way of Baghdad, Iraq) intends to shine in his second UFC main event. Currently riding a six-fight win streak, he has earned impressive victories against Kai-Kara France, Alessandro Costa and Francisco Figueiredo. Albazi now has his sight set on taking out a former UFC titleholder to stake his claim for a shot at the gold.
Blanchfield (12-2, fighting out of Elmwood Park, N.J.) plans to defend her spot in the rankings by taking out another former UFC champion. Victorious in nine of her last 10 bouts, she holds memorable wins over Taila Santos, Jessica Andrade and Molly McCann. Blanchfield now hopes to move closer to a flyweight championship opportunity with a show-stealing outing in the Great White North.
Namajunas (13-6, fighting out of Denver, Colo.) intends to secure her third consecutive victory at 125 pounds. A former two-time strawweight champion, she has delivered exciting finishes against Zhang Weili, Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Michelle Waterson-Gomez.
