KENNY CHESNEY
THE BIG REVIVAL TOUR
FRIDAY, JULY 3 & SATURDAY, JULY 4 AT 8 P.M.
Tickets on sale Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m.
Country superstar Kenny Chesney announced from The Joint’s stage this weekend that he is adding two more Las Vegas shows to The Big Revival Tour. Chesney will return to The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m.
“We helped open this place [six] years ago,” Chesney announced while on stage at The Joint. “It feels good to be back, we’re going to a lot of places this summer but we’ll be coming back here in July. This is the eighth time we’ve played here and we can’t get enough.”
Fun fact: Chesney has played The Joint more than any other artist or band (excluding the residency bands) with a total of nine shows, which included a show for the opening of the new Joint in April 2009. The two July shows will bring it to eleven amazing performances by the country superstar at the venue.
Chesney performed a set full of his biggest hits including “Summertime,” “American Kids,” and “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy,” as well as a few cover songs such as “Whole Lotta Rosey” during his packed, two-night concert series at The Joint. The crowd partied along as they experienced his shows in a more intimate setting than his typical arena-sized concerts.
The household name and country musician began his road to fame in 1994 by releasing his first album, In My Wildest Dreams, and quickly rose to stardom with 14 of his 15 albums becoming certified gold or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America. Chesney has sold more tickets than any other artist of the 21st century, selling over 1 million tickets during each of his past 10 tours.
Chesney won the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year Award a combined eight times with more than 24 No. 1 hits topping the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. He has collaborated with other iconic country musicians such as Jimmy Buffet, Reba McEntire, Toby Keith and George Strait.
Tickets start at $155 (plus applicable service fees) and go on sale Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m. at the Hard Rock Hotel box office, by calling 888.9.AXS.TIX or online at www.axs.com.
