EATALY LAS VEGAS HOSTS MONTHLY ITALIAN
WINE CLASSES, MARCH – JULY 2024
Explore Italy’s “Micro-Countries” Through Premium Wine, Food, and Culture
at Intimate Sip & Savor Classes
As a destination where guests can eat, shop, and learn all under one roof, Eataly Las Vegas is launching Sip & Savor Wine Classes, a monthly class dedicated to exploring a different Italian “micro-country” every month. Setting Italy apart from other world-renowned wine production regions are the 20 different “micro-countries” nestled within the peninsula, each with its own distinct history, food, wine, and culture.
Guests are invited to intimate and approachable classes at Eataly’s Wine Shop where an expert will guide them through a selection of premium wines and expertly paired Italian bites. The Sip & Savor Wine Classes at Eataly will be offered once a month from March through July featuring six wines from notable producers in the selected region.
Tickets can be purchased online for $75 per guest.
Upcoming Sip & Savor Wine Classes:
- March 15 – Discover Toscana: Escape to the region of Tuscany through an exclusive wine-and-food tasting experience. Tuscany is famous for many things: premium wines, rich art and history, and a culture of passionate people. Due to its incredible diversity of geography and climate, Tuscany is also the birthplace of some of Italy’s most famous and loved wines.
- April 5 – Discover Trentino-Alto Adige: In this class, guests will delve into the northernmost region of Trentino-Alto Adige, home to picturesque alpine scenery and one of the world’s greatest Pinot Grigios. White wines encompass over half of the production in this region, exciting wine lovers with refreshingly bright notes of citrus, floral, and honey.
- May 17 – Discover Campania: Campania is one of Italy’s oldest wine regions with wine production dating back to the 12th century. While famous for Falerno, the region offers a variety of grapes grown nowhere else in the world. Take a wine journey through aromatic whites, reminiscent of local florals, and dynamic reds from the southwest coasts of Italy.
- June 14 – Discover Umbria: Bordering Tuscany and Rome is one of Italy’s lesser-known regions, Umbria. Known as the ‘Green Heart of Italy’ because of its central location and luscious green hills, Umbria houses undervalued and fantastic wines made from its native grapes. One notable example is Sagrantino, a rich and full-bodied red. Discover these rising variations and more on this tasting journey through the center of Italy.
- July 12 – Discover Abruzzo: Located on the eastern coast of Italy lies the Adriatic Sea, a beautiful sea lining the country with beaches, shallow water, and warm breezes. The regions facing the Adriatic Sea have distinctive climates, creating an extensive selection of unique wines. During this class, an expert will guide guests through each wine’s properties and peculiarities, along with historical and geographical background on each.
