The Scarlet & Gray will play among a stacked 14-team field at Pepperdine’s annual tournament from Monday-Wednesday
Kicking off the spring season, the UNLV men’s golf team will compete in Thousand Oaks, California, at Pepperdine’s Southwestern Invitational from Monday-Wednesday at Sherwood Country Club (par 72, 7,7617 yards).
THE FIELD: The Rebels will be up against a stacked 14-team field, with half of the teams being ranked in the top 25. Among those are the host Waves at No.19, No. 5 Texas, No. 10 UCLA, No. 11 Arizona, No. 14 Florida, No. 15 Vanderbilt and No. 24 Duke. Also competing in the tournament are Cal, Chattanooga, San Diego State, San Jose State, USC and Washington.
UNLV LINEUP: Representing the Scarlet & Gray will be seniors Caden Fioroni and Trevor Lewis, junior Wyatt Plattner, sophomore Zach Little and senior Ben Sawaia.
SCHEDULE: The 54-hole event includes 18-hole rounds each day. The Rebels hit the tee in Sunday’s first round at 9 a.m. PT.
