UNLV baseball’s Reese Lueck was named the Mountain West’s Freshman of the Week following the Rebels’ 31-6 victory against Pacific on Sunday, the league announced Monday.

The Las Vegas native pitched one frame of relief on Sunday, facing three batters and not allowing a single hit, run or walk during his first ever college appearance on the mound.

NOTES AND NEWS
– The 31 runs scored by the Hustlin’ Rebels on Sunday, February 19 marked the second most runs scored in program history, the first being 37 runs scored against San Jose State in 1986.
– UNLV currently holds a three-game win streak, the best start to the season since 2018.

UP NEXT: UNLV will hit the road for the first time this season to play a single-game, mid week contest against Arizona State Tuesday, February 22 at 5 p.m. (PT).

PURCHASE TICKETS
Single-game ticket prices this season are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, faculty and staff, and $5 to groups of 15 or more. Fans that purchase tickets online before game day can get them for an advanced single-game price of $6.

All high school, middle school and elementary students are free under UNLV’s new admission policy. To receive free admission, high school students must present valid Nevada are school I.D. at the box office on gameday for one (1) complimentary ticket. Current UNLV students will receive free admission with a valid school I.D. All other students will receive a complimentary ticket at the box office (no I.D. required). Kids not yet elementary school age will continue to receive free admission for all UNLV Olympic sports.
