Hill suffered a torn ACL in Saturday’s game at San Diego State

 

UNLV men’s basketball fifth-year forward Jalen Hill will miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season, the athletics department announced Monday.

 

Hill, who is originally from Las Vegas and transferred to UNLV from Oklahoma prior to this season, suffered a knee injury late in the first half in the Runnin’ Rebels’ game at San Diego State on Saturday.

 

A MRI revealed that Hill suffered a torn ACL.

 

Hill returned to the lineup against the Aztecs for the first time in seven games as he missed the previous six because of a wrist injury.

 

Hill played in a total of seven games this season, all starts, and averaged 10.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest. He shot 54% from the field and 86% from the free-throw line, while also averaging 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
