ICEBAR TO OPEN AT THE LINQ PROMENADE THIS NOVEMBER
ICEBAR, a brand-new project created by Noel Bowman of Minus5 Ice Experience, will open this November at The LINQ Promenade. Replacing Sprinkles Cupcakes next to the Promenade’s fountain, ICEBAR will offer the unforgettable frozen ambience and frosty cocktails familiar to fans of Minus5, while also featuring new, immersive features such as dynamic projection mapping.
“We are presenting Las Vegas audiences with another exciting ice experience,” said Noel Bowman, owner, ICEBAR. “We know this coveted location will be attractive to leisure visitors strolling the Promenade, as well as corporate groups utilizing the nearby convention facilities, including the new Caesars Forum.”
Construction on ICEBAR begins this week to transform the existing space. ICEBAR will have cool, blue and green décor elements and signage on the exterior, as well as a 1,000-square-foot covered patio facing the Promenade’s fountain and a “warm space” devoted to a warm bar and lobby at the front entrance. Of course, the majority of the space will be devoted to the ice attraction, which will be 1,200 square feet and encompass more than 100 tons of hand-carved ice. The space is maintained at 32 degrees Fahrenheit by a sophisticated, state-of-the-art refrigeration system.
Once open, visitors to ICEBAR will be able to don parkas or faux fur coats to experience the venue’s chill vibe. Enhanced by dazzling artistic elements, ICEBAR showcases high-tech projection mapping, immersive ice sculptures and educational features designed to explore the art of ice. Guests ages 21 and older can select from a signature menu of chilled cocktails—such as The ICE MAN, Frozen Mojito and Frosé, all served in glasses made entirely of ice. The attraction is also family friendly, offering icy mocktails with clever names such as Jack Frost and YETI.
The venue will be available for private bookings and brand take-overs by corporate groups. Customized ice sculptures can be produced for any occasion, and branded products can even be cleverly showcased while being deep-frozen in crystal-clear blocks of ice. ICEBAR can accommodate up to 500 guests for private bookings.
“At The LINQ Promenade, we are always seeking the freshest, most distinctive mix of experiences for our guests,” said Shaun Swanger, senior vice president of attractions, retail and leasing, Caesars Entertainment. “The addition of ICEBAR represents our ongoing commitment to be the most vibrant entertainment, dining and retail destination in Las Vegas.”
