Boot-Scoot and Boogie at Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge for
New Editions of “Denim & Rhinestones Wednesdays”
Country fans can mosey over to Gatsby’s for an evening of
themed cocktails, line dancing and live DJ sets.
Dust off your boots, grab your cowboy hat, and throw on your best denim because Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge, located inside Resorts World Las Vegas, is cranking up the country vibes with “Denim and Rhinestones Wednesdays.” Starting at 10 p.m. on Wednesdays Sept. 25 and Oct. 23, the chic lounge will transform into a honky-tonk paradise, celebrating all things country music with some “Roaring Twenties” dazzle. Reservations and more information can be found here. Gatsby’s will also host a special edition of Denim and Rhinestone Wednesdays on Wednesday, Dec. 11, to celebrate the rodeo finals in Las Vegas.
Kicking off each party, DJ Absent Mynded, a popular DJ at country bars in Las Vegas, will create the soundtrack, spinning country music’s biggest hits, while line dancing queen and former Vegas Viva SavvyJayy leads guests in line dancing to get everyone stomping and twirling in sync. On Wednesday, Oct. 23, same-day ticket holders to Carrie Underwood’s show will be able to take advantage of buy-one-get-one offers on well cocktails and glasses of house wine.
Each Denim and Rhinestone Wednesday, limited-time-only libations will be available in addition to the regular menu, including the bubbly Pink Champagne, made with peach schnapps, grenadine, half and half, lemon and an egg white, then topped with Perrier-Jouet Blason Rosé, priced at $18; the citrusy Stiff Drink Paloma, made with Codigo Rosa tequila, Aperol and Fever Tree grapefruit soda, priced at $18; or the bold Smoke Break Old Fashioned, crafted with smoked Jefferson’s bourbon, Demerara syrup and Angostura bitters, priced at $20; The lounge will also offer Carrie’s Wine Special, a house selection of wine, priced at $12 and bottles of Michelob Ultras for $6, or a bucket of six for $30. For those who like a little more adventure, shots of Jameson and Tequila Codigo are available for $12; or a beer and shot special with Michelob Ultra and Jameson or Tequila Codigo shots, priced at $12.
