HopeLink of Southern Nevada hosts annual HopeWeek fundraiser with a new

New Jammin’4 Hope virtual concert introduced amid COVID-19

During the first week of November, HopeLink of Southern Nevada (HopeLink) will host its annual, weeklong fundraiser, HopeWeek and introduce Jammin’4 Hope, a livestream event. HopeWeek runs from Sunday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 8 to celebrate the community and raise funds for those facing housing insecurities during the holidays. Additionally, HopeLink will kick-off Jammin’4 Hope on Nov. 8, a livestream concert telethon to continue raising funds while also supporting entertainment industry workers and the community at large struggling amidst COVID-19. To become an event sponsor or participate in Jammin’4 Hope, visit HopeLink’s website link2hope.org or follow on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

“Despite COVID-19 restrictions, we are extremely excited for this year’s HopeWeek and to introduce our new Jammin’4 Hope virtual event featuring entertainers from across the state and country,” said Stacey Lockhart, executive director of HopeLink. “As we head into the holidays, our community is more dependent on us now than they have been before, particularly when facing the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to stabilize these seniors and families during our coldest months as we expect CARES funding to end on Dec. 31.”

Committed to providing continued housing relief to southern Nevada’s most vulnerable populations, HopeWeek encompasses a week of events dedicated to fundraising and thanking volunteers and donors. To support the event, HopeLink is seeking community sponsors, endorsements and donations for HopeWeek events. Charitable gifts and auction items can include gift baskets, autographs, collectable memorabilia and more. HopeLink is also accepting monetary donations of which 98 percent will go directly towards programs and services designed to help stabilize seniors and families in southern Nevada. If you are interested in donating directly to HopeLink, please visit link2hope.org Along with raising money for housing relief for the underserved community, a portion of the proceeds will be designated to support those in the entertainment industry affected by COVID with rent, mortgage and utility financial hardships.

  • Make Someone Smile – Wednesday, Nov. 4
  • Heroes of Hope – Thursday, Nov. 5

The new event will culminate a week of community giving all focused on preventing homelessness throughout southern Nevada in addition to providing special support for the entertainment community members financially impacted during the pandemic.
