Holsteins is bringing its first local Las Vegas restaurant to the Arts District
Holsteins Shakes & Buns, the crave-worthy burger destination known for its indulgent creations and legendary over-the-top milkshakes, is heading downtown. After nearly 15 years as a Las Vegas Strip favorite, Holsteins, founded by Las Vegas-based Gen3 Hospitality, is thrilled to open a new location in the Arts District in Downtown Las Vegas. Set to open in early spring 2025, the gourmet burger destination will reignite the city’s love affair with Holsteins’ bold flavors, playful vibe and signature style in the heart of the growing community.
Located next to the Velveteen Rabbit at 1216 S. Main St, the 2,800-square-foot Holsteins will embrace Downtown’s edgy, urban spirit. The restaurant’s design will feature original brickwork, industrial concrete floors and a long bar, creating a hip atmosphere perfect for Las Vegas locals and visitors alike. Holsteins will offer cozy booths and tables, plus TVs for sports fans, making it the go-to spot for lunch, happy hour, dinner or late-night indulgence.
The new downtown location also pays homage to Holsteins’ local roots. Founder Billy Richardson, a third-generation Las Vegan, is thrilled to bring Holsteins back to its loyal fans. “Downtown Las Vegas holds a special place in my heart and we’re excited to bring Holsteins to the neighborhood,” said Richardson. “It’s where my father and grandfather started their businesses, and it’s just the place for Holsteins to start its next chapter. We’re creating a space where everyone can come together to share a meal and have some fun.”
Holsteins’ menu will spotlight its famous gourmet burgers, inventive salads and decadent milkshakes. Highlights include a dry-aged beef burger with smoked bacon, aged goat cheddar and truffle mayo; a lighter but equally indulgent option featuring fresh, crispy fish; and a bold plant-based burger topped with house-made pickles and avocado.
Bam-Boozled Shakes, Holsteins boozy takes on milkshakes, will also make the move downtown with options like the Campfire S’mores, a blend of rich chocolate, toasted marshmallow and a shot of whiskey. The bar program will feature a rotating selection of local craft beers on tap and a menu of simple yet inventive cocktails crafted to fit Downtown’s laid-back vibe.
Holsteins will be open daily for lunch and dinner, with killer happy hour specials in between.
