National Volunteer Month
April
HELP of Southern Nevada depends on volunteers to expand the capacity of their programs and are an essential part of the nonprofit. By giving of their time and talents, volunteers become directly connected with the community and broaden the organization’s capabilities and in turn positively impact the lives of clients. Throughout National Volunteer Appreciation Week April 20 – 26, HELP will be hosting various initiatives to honor its dedicated volunteers, including a volunteer appreciation breakfast.
National Laundry Day LaundroLab Campaign with HELP of Southern Nevada
Tuesday, April 15
On National Laundry Day, LaundroLab’s two locations on 2775 S Nellis Blvd, Ste 5 and 3265 E Tropicana Ave will donate 10% of proceeds to HELP of Southern Nevada.
Vegas Unstripped at Palms Casino Resort

This year, HELP of Southern Nevada has been named one of the official Charity Partners for Vegas Unstripped. The event brings together top local Las Vegas chefs for a one-of-a-kind food festival, highlighting culinary creativity beyond the Strip. More details can be found here.
2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament at Chicken N Pickle

10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Open to players of all skill levels, HELP of Southern Nevada’s 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament will feature social and competitive brackets, creating a fun and inclusive competition. Check-in and warm up begin at 10:30 a.m., and all proceeds benefit HELP of Southern Nevada programming. In addition to exciting tournament play, the family & dog friendly event will feature light bites, team prizes and raffle items. Those not looking to play can purchase spectator tickets for $50. Kendra Scott Fundraiser at Downtown Summerlin

6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Join HELP in-store at Kendra Scott Downtown Summerlin and mention HELP of Southern Nevada at checkout for 20% of your purchase to be donated back to HELP in support of our mission. Those who cannot make it in-store can shop online May 10 – 11 at kendrascott.com using the code GIVEBACK-IWDVB and 20% of online purchase will be donated to HELP of Southern Nevada.
14th Annual HELP2O Water Drive
May 26 – September 1
Remaining steadfast in its mission to aid at-risk families and individuals throughout the Valley, HELP of Southern Nevada’s summer-long HELP2O Water Drive initiative calls on the local community to donate bottled water to HELP’s Framing Hope Warehouse located at 1600 E. Flamingo Road, open Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. All donations are used for water and inclement weather-related needs that will be directly distributed to homeless individuals throughout Southern Nevada enduring extreme temperatures throughout the summer. 2025 Golfer’s Roundup at Cascata Golf Club

HELP of Southern Nevada is kicking off a summer of giving with the 31st annual Golfer’s Roundup at Cascata Golf Club in Boulder City on Wednesday, June 11. The highly anticipated charitable event calls on local golf enthusiasts to participate in the fundraising event to further assist HELP in their mission to support vulnerable families and individuals throughout Southern Nevada. Freed’s Bakery Cupcake Fundraiser

HELP of Southern Nevada is partnering with Freed’s Bakery for a cupcake fundraiser on July 16. Freed’s delicious cupcakes are available exclusively via online ordering. Proceeds will benefit HELP of Southern Nevada’s mission to assist families and individuals throughout Southern Nevada in overcoming barriers and attaining self-sufficiency through direct services, training, and referral to community resources.
26th Annual Tea, Trends and Tranquility at Durango Casino & Resort

Spend an afternoon of elegance and celebration with HELP of Southern Nevada as they host their 26th Annual Tea, Trends & Tranquility fundraising event. Inside Durango Hotel & Casino, guests will be treated to an unforgettable experience featuring freshly brewed tea from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf of Las Vegas, captivating psychic readings by the renowned Mystic Mona®, a thrilling silent auction, and a fabulous fashion show showcasing looks from Macy’s at Fashion Show Mall. This enchanting event honors four incredible women and supports HELP’s purpose to prevent and end homelessness.
Night of the Witches Presented by Mystic Mona at Grape Street Café & Wine Bat at Downtown Summerlin

The renowned psychic and tarot consultant, Mystic Mona®, is set to host the ninth annual Night of the Witches on Wednesday, October 22 at Grape Street Café & Wine Bar in Downtown Summerlin. $40 admission includes one Witches Brew specialty beverage, a raffle ticket, a word search puzzle, happy hour pricing, entry into the costume contest and a Night of the Witches Collectable Cup will be gifted to the first 50 guests. Wizards are also welcome. This annual night with the best witches promises a delightful evening of Halloween sorcery, all in support of HELP of Southern Nevada.
