“HELP2O” Bottled Water Campaign at Whole Foods Market
Now through Aug. 31
HELP of Southern Nevada’s “HELP2O” campaign encourages Southern Nevadans to help protect homeless residents from the dangers associated with the summer heat by donating water and spare change at Whole Foods Market now through Aug. 31. Those looking to donate bottled water can do so by visiting any of the four local Whole Foods Market locations. Bottled water donations can be purchased in-store and donated or purchased elsewhere and dropped off. For every bottle of Real Water purchased at Whole Foods Market during the campaign, Nevada-based Real Water will donate a bottle. The water will be collected on a regular basis and distributed to the area’s homeless.
Back-to-School Supply Drive at Sushi Roku
Now through Sept. 2
HELP of Southern Nevada is partnering with Sushi Roku now through Labor Day for a school supply drive. Diners who donate school supplies will receive one complimentary order of edamame with their meal.
Back-to-School Supply Drive at HELP of Southern Nevada

HELP of Southern Nevada is collecting school supplies such as backpacks, filler paper (college and wide ruled), pens, pencils, erasers, binders, notebooks, folders, glue sticks, scissors, crayons, colored pencils, rulers, tissues, hand sanitizer, quart-sized storage bags and dry erase markers at the nonprofit’s 1640 E. Flamingo Road headquarters. HELP will then distribute the supplies to school-aged clients in need of assistance.
Dine to Donate at Buffalo Wild Wings
July 20 and Aug. 2

HELP of Southern Nevada is partnering with Buffalo Wild Wings (7430 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Suite 120) for “Dine to Donate” on July 20 and Aug. 2 from 11 a.m. to midnight. Buffalo Wild Wings will donate 10 percent of all proceeds to HELP of Southern Nevada when diners bring in the designated “Dine to Donate” flyer, which can be printed off here for July 20 and here for Aug. 2.
A Night with the 51s at Cashman Field

Cashman Field is hosting HELP of Southern Nevada on Friday, Aug. 9 at 7:05 p.m. for A Night with the 51s. $11 tickets are available for purchase online only using special code “help” with $3 benefitting the nonprofit. Ticket holders receive a free 51s cap and are invited to stay after the game for a special fireworks show.
Boot Scootin’ Benefit at Gilley’s

Noon to 4 p.m.
A HELP of Southern Nevada benefit full of dancing, raffle prizes and surprises is being held at Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que in Treasure Island from noon to 4 p.m. on Aug. 17. Tickets are $25 per person and the event is open to anyone age 12 and older. Teams of up to four people may participate and prizes will be awarded to the best dancer, best costume, worst dancers and team that can dance the longest.
Pay It Forward Fridays at Hard Rock Hotel
Aug. 23
HELP of Southern Nevada is partnering with Hard Rock Hotel for Pay It Forward Fridays on Friday, Aug. 23 with all proceeds benefitting HELP. Pool cabanas are available for purchase for just $100 and include a plasma TV, refrigerator, bottled water, ceiling fans and more. All ages welcome; some areas restricted to guests under age 21. Round It Up At Yard House

Support HELP of Southern Nevada by visiting Yard House at Town Square Las Vegas all year long and participating in Round It Up America®, a program that gives diners around the country the opportunity to make a difference in their communities by donating pocket change to local nonprofits. Each check at Yard House at Town Square Las Vegas contains a line where patrons can donate to HELP of Southern Nevada by simply rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar. While the individual donations may be nominal, their collective sum is powerful in assisting HELP of Southern Nevada serve the community through its various programs.
