Cabo Wabo Cantina, Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ Strip-side bar and restaurant located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will offer a fiesta of flavors with surf ‘n turf tacos, available Monday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 6 in honor of National Taco Day.
Guests can enjoy Cabo’s Strip-side patio panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip while having the best of both land and sea with Executive Chef Tacho Kneeland’s surf ‘n turf tacos. Warm tortillas will be filled with succulent shrimp and slices of tender steak, topped with housemade salsa, pickled onions and Cotija cheese, bursting with flavor and priced at $28.95. Cabo Wabo’s full menu of delicious tacos will also be available, with standouts including grilled chicken tacos filled with al pastor grilled chicken, salsa arbol, avocado, cilantro and onion, served on corn tortillas; and Baja-style fish tacos made with beer-battered cod, shredded lettuce, chipotle aioli, fresh tomatoes, cilantro, lime and pickled onions served on flour tortillas.
Guests can pair their tacos with Cabo Wabo’s signature cocktails featuring Sammy Hagar’s own Santo Tequila or Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, cans of Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Company or Red Rocker Lager. Popular choices include the Margarita Verde made with Sammy’s Santo Blanco Tequila, lime juice, fresh cucumber and cilantro, served on the rocks; or Sammy’s Toasted Colada, made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, Coco Lopez and fresh pineapple juice, served on the rocks with a toasted coconut rim.
