GREENS & PROTEINS INTRODUCES EXPANDED RAW FOOD MENU

New Items From Celebrated Chef Stacey Dougan

 

Greens & Proteins Healthy Kitchen, a modern and family-friendly café, adds to its health-conscious menu with afull selection of fresh and flavorful raw offerings crafted by Chef Stacey Dougan, the newest addition to the nutrition-focused team.

Chef Dougan is a noted gourmet vegan expert, raw food chef and nutritionist. Under her direction Greens & Proteins has expanded the raw food menu to include Mock Chicken Lettuce Wraps, a mock chicken salad, cashews and almonds in  butter lettuce wraps topped with alfalfa sprouts and diced tomatoes, Raw Chili Cheese Fries made of raw pumpkin seed chili and raw cheese spread over jicama fries and topped with diced tomatoes, Raw Pizza consisting of herb tomato sauce, raw cheese, Portobello mushrooms, kalamata olives and diced tomatoes on a flax seed pizza crisp and Raw Macho Nachos, pumpkin seed chili, raw cheese, mango salsa, avocado salad and diced tomatoes over raw corn chips.

From across the United States to Ghana, Dougan is internationally known for her skilled techniques and nutrition-focused practice. A vegan for more than 12 years, she has undergone extensive training with world-renowned chefs and nutritionists from the Soul Vegetarian Restaurant, the largest chain of vegan restaurants in the world. After graduating from the Living Foods Institute, she developed a profound nutritional program, expanded her repertoire and branched out to become a master instructor, providing gourmet vegan and raw food preparation seminars. Her experience stems from holding many positions in various parts of the world including Head Executive Chef at Everlasting Life, Atlanta’s premier gourmet raw and living foods restaurant, CEO of ANEW Wellness Spa and Consulting in Ghana, West Africa and Health Editor for the widely circulated magazine, Enjoy Accra.

Currently, Dougan resides in Las Vegas, Nevada and is the resident vegan chef at Wynn Resort Hotel and Casino. She also conducts ongoing plant based cooking classes and wellness seminars at various Whole Foods Market locations in the Las Vegas area. Additionally, Dougan plays the role of a personal chef, offering gourmet vegan and raw catering services. She has truly utilized her talents as a plant based culinary artist and her optimum nutritional program has assisted in helping clients control common diseasessuch as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, high cholesterol and heart disease.
