Peabo Bryson
Saturday, October 6

Throughout his career, vocalist, songwriter and producer Peabo Bryson has released 20 albums, multiple hit songs and made music history when he became the first artist to have separate records topping four different charts. Bryson won fans over with Billboard chart-topping hits like “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again,” “Let The Feeling Flow” and “Can You Stop the Rain.”

Bryson gained international recognition for his ability to produce romantic ballads and songs under multiple genres, including R&B, pop and jazz. In the early ‘90s, the silky-voiced soul artist went on to win two Grammy Awards for “Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” for performances on Disney movie soundtracks, including the duet “Beauty and the Beast” with Celine Dion, and “A Whole New World” from the film “Aladdin.”

Most recently, Bryson collaborated with powerhouse producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to release his 21st album “Stand for Love,” featuring R&B hits like “Love Like Yours and Mine.”

REO Speedwagon
Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28

Formed in 1967, REO Speedwagon began performing at fraternity events at the University of Illinois and gigs across Champaign, Ill. In 1971, the band signed a deal with Epic Records and went on to release eight albums throughout the 1970s, including their double-platinum record “You Can Tune a Piano but You Can’t Tuna Fish” in 1978.

REO Speedwagon’s fame skyrocketed as they rapidly rose to the top of the charts, setting the bar for other rock bands with their 1980 album “Hi Infidelity.” The album spent 15 weeks at No. 1 and sold more than 10 million copies. “Hi Infidelity” produced the No. 1 singles “Keep on Loving You,” “Take It on the Run,” “In Your Letter” and “Don’t Let Him Go.”

In 1984, REO Speedwagon released their 11th studio album entitled “Wheels Are Turnin’,” which included the No. 1 single “Can’t Fight This Feeling.” The band has continued to produce hits throughout the decades, including 2007’s “Find Your Own Way Home.” Two years later, the band teamed up with fellow Midwestern rockers Styx for the single “Can’t Stop Rockin’,” which later became the title track for the groups’ tour with .38 Special. Throughout the years, the band has also toured with top rock bands like Chicago, as well as with rock icons like Pat Benatar and Ted Nugent.

The band’s current lineup includes founding member and keyboardist Neal Doughty, lead singer Kevin Cronin, bass player Bruce Hall, lead guitarist Dave Amato and drummer Bryan Hitt.
