Golden Gai Cocktail Club, the intimate drinks destination at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas inspired by the iconic neon-lit alleys of the Golden Gai bar district of Shinjuku, Tokyo, announces its first-ever Bartender Competition on Thursday, Jan. 16, beginning at 8 p.m. The event will take place on the venue’s outdoor terrace, providing an open-air Strip-view experience for all attendees.
The competition will feature eight of Las Vegas’ most talented mixologists, each vying for a grand prize of $1,000. Contestants will showcase their skills in a fast-paced, high-energy contest where creativity, precision and speed will be put to the test. The mixologists represent some of the best local talent, each bringing their distinctive styles and innovative drink recipes to the event. Contestants will be judged on creativity, balance, taste, originality, presentation and their delivery of the cocktail.
This competitive demonstration of mixology mastery is open to the public, offering a chance for cocktail enthusiasts and industry professionals alike to witness some of the city’s top bartenders in action. Guests will enjoy the excitement of the competition, sip on Golden Gai’s expertly crafted cocktails and celebrate the artistry behind mixology.
