Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will celebrate the Summer Olympics with mix-and-match beer buckets from the opening ceremonies on Friday, July 26 through the closing ceremonies on Sunday, August 11. Each bucket will be priced at $25, featuring bottled favorites such as Heineken, Heineken light, Dos Equis, Dos Equis Amber and Tecate.
With over 30 big screen HDTVs, including a 200-inch video grid visible throughout the cantina, every seat at Cabo Wabo offers a front-row experience. Guests can make their podium selections from a tantalizing menu of shareables including Cabo’s nacho platter, made with a house cheese blend, jalapeños, queso sauce, cotija cheese, sour cream and guacamole; or the popular fundido de queso con chorizo, made with homemade pork chorizo on a bed of melted Oaxaca, Asiago, provolone and cotija cheese and served in warm cast iron skillet. Fans can pair the coastal Mexican cuisine with handcrafted cocktails made with Sammy Hagar’s premium spirits such as the Strawberita, made with Santo Tequila, strawberry purée and lime juice; or the CW Mai Tai, made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, Sailor Jerry Rum, Orgeat, tropical juices and grenadine, topped with a float of Myer’s Rum.
