Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Welcomes the
Holiday Season with Special Grand Opening Celebration
Guests enjoyed a special performance by Terry Fator, celebrity red carpet and tram tours that included the world’s largest light tunnel
Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the holiday drive-through spectacular, hosted a grand opening celebration on Thursday, Nov. 15. Guests enjoyed a special performance by Terry Fator, great food, a celebrity red carpet and tram tours of the world’s largest light tunnel and more than 450 animated light displays along a 2.5 mile racetrack.
Celebrities in attendance included Jayne Post of Marriage Can Be Murder, Kevin Burke of Defending the Caveman, Murray Sawchuck Celebrity Magician of Tropicana’s Laugh Factory and casts of Thunder From Down Under and Fantasy. Treats were available from Popped and hot chocolate from Bad Ass Coffee. In addition, guests enjoyed delicious food by Carrabba’s Italian Grill and eggnog courtesy of Boy Scouts of America.
Glittering Lights is open nightly through Jan. 6, 2013, Monday through Thursday from 5:30-9 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 5:30-10 p.m. Speedway Children’s Charities receives a portion of ticket sales and provides funding for hundreds of children’s charities throughout Southern Nevada. Goodwill of Southern Nevada will provide $2 off admission with a donation of gently used items at any of the 30+ sites located in Southern Nevada or at the gates of Glittering Lights.
