GET TWISTED AT HOFBRÄUHAUS LAS VEGAS
National Pretzel Day – April 26

Pretzels made their way to America in the late 1700’s by German immigrants, and it’s no secret that Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas holds true to tradition with their pretzels by importing the dough direct from Germany. Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas is celebrating National Pretzel Day on Sunday, April 26. As part of the celebration, guests who mention National Pretzel Day to their server will receive a small pretzel served with delicious beer cheese sauce for $1.99.

“We bake our pretzels fresh every day so guests can always get the true quality of a German pretzel, said Franz Krondorfer, Vice President of Food and Beverage. “Pair our soft, lightly-salted pretzels with beer cheese, sweet or spicy mustard or even Obatzda cheese and get a flavorful experience you can’t find at any other restaurant.”

Historically, pretzels are known to bring about good luck. In the early 1800’s German children would wear a pretzel on a string around their necks at the beginning of the year to bring prosperity, health and good fortune. To this day pretzel necklaces are a staple tradition during Oktoberfest.
