Monday, Sept. 2 through Sunday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Renowned comedian Gary Vider is set to record his debut comedy album Vider Las Vegas at the world-famous Comedy Cellar at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The first comedy album to be recorded at the Comedy Cellar’s Las Vegas location, Vider will perform alongside a rotating lineup of comedians, including Ari Shaffir, Mark Normand, Jared Freid and Robert Kelly, from Monday, Sept. 2 through Sunday, Sept. 8. Tickets start at $25 for Las Vegas locals.
Gary Vider is a New York City-based comedian who has made a name for himself in the national comedy scene. His subtle style of humor took him all the way to the finals on season 10 of America’s Got Talent. His dry delivery has also earned him television appearances on CONAN and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. His jokes have been published in the New York Times and Time Out NY Magazine and he was named a “Comic to Watch” by Esquire. Later this year, Gary will be releasing his debut comedy album, ‘Vider Las Vegas’.
Known for its distinctive “showcase format,” featuring five television-headliner comedians performing their best 15-20 minute sets, the renowned comedy club brings the unique vibe from the iconic, underground Greenwich Village club, including the “brick wall and stained glass,” low-ceiling design and full food and drink menu from the club’s sister bar and late-night hangout The Fat Black Pussycat.
Comedy Cellar performances are held nightly at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tickets are $45 plus applicable taxes and fees for general admission. Tickets for Las Vegas locals with a valid ID are $25 plus applicable taxes and fees. All tickets can be purchased online at RioLasVegas.com or www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at (702) 777-2782 or (855) 234-7469, or in-person at any Las Vegas Caesars Entertainment Box Office.
