Hella Bakery and Café announces a new era with a new name, owner, and location, Theo’s It’s All Greek to Me. Anastacios Theologitis opened this authentic Greek restaurant to honor his father, who owned and operated Nikos Greek Kitchen in Reno, Nevada. As a young man, Anastacios witnessed the love spread through his father’s food to the community. This would light up his passion to continue his legacy, especially after his father’s passing when Anastacios was in his 20s.
“I worked my way through the food and beverage industry from the bottom up. From washing dishes to managing the floor and kitchen in 5-star casinos to fast-casual restaurants, here I am years later … still washing dishes, but now they are our dishes filled with my father’s recipes. I am honored and truly still in disbelief that I have this opportunity,” says Anastacios. “Without the guidance from my mother and second father Tiger, love and support from family, friends, and my amazing wife Jasmine. I wouldn’t be where I am now. We plan to continue spreading Greek love and energy throughout our amazing community, allowing everyone to experience our welcoming hospitality.”
Giving back to the community, It’s All Greek to Me offers free lunch for children or adults with special needs on Tuesdays from noon to 2 p.m. For families, kids eat free every Wednesday night from 5 p.m. to close. Additionally, they launched their new Suicide Awareness T-shirts and 10% of proceeds will benefit Boys Town Nevada, who offer a 24/7 mental health free hotline.
