Fremont Street Experience to Host SlotZilla™ Job Fair
Popular downtown Las Vegas zipline attraction looking to fill multiple positions
SlotZilla™, downtown Las Vegas’ popular zipline attraction, will be holding a job fair at Fremont Street Experience to fill multiple full-time, part-time and on-call positions. There will also be interviews conducted for Fremont Street Experience Security Officer positions. The job fair will take place on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11 from noon – 3 p.m. on both days. The interviews will be taking place on the 4th floor of the Fremont Street Experience parking garage located at Carson and 4th Street. On site interviews will be conducted and candidates must bring a complete resume to be considered for the following positions:
Ride Maintenance Technician – Position will report to SlotZilla Ride Maintenance Department Manager and Supervisors. Interested candidates should be able to: work from Ride Maintenance and Operational manuals; perform routine and as-needed maintenance and inspections; trouble-shoot various ride elements (i.e. limit switches, proximity sensors, pneumatic actuators, push button assemblies, etc.); perform general maintenance of facility (i.e. lighting repair, bulb maintenance and painting). Ability to work at heights and in the elements.
Ticket Office Sales Staff – Position will report to SlotZilla Office Department Manager and Supervisors and will work in the following areas: door greeting, assisting guests at self-service ticketing kiosks, ticketing and merchandise sales, wrist banding, cash handling, cleaning and other office related tasks. Job duties include and are not limited to: handling monetary transactions; securing and balancing money drawer; welcoming guests in a friendly and cheerful manner; assisting multiple guests with transactions at self-service ticketing kiosks.
Ride Operator – Positions reports to SlotZilla Operations Manager and Supervisors and will work in the following areas: SlotZilla launch tower, mid-landing platform, end-landing platform, the mall area and daily tower inspections. Job duties include and are not limited to: transporting harnesses from landing platforms back to launch tower; safely assisting guests with the zipline harness; informing guests of critical safety instructions; loading guests onto zipline cables and safely inspecting readiness for travel; assisting in morning operational checks; cleaning of all platforms, staircases and handrails as needed.
Fremont Street Experience Security Officer – Provides protection from any element or factor which may jeopardize the welfare, security and safety of employees, guests or customers and their personal property and the assets of the FSE. Serves as goodwill ambassador for Fremont Street Experience. Guest Card required. TAM card preferred.
