Fremont Street Experience announces the addition of several local bands to its entertainment lineup. This November enjoy free performances from some of Las Vegas’ most popular acts including: Zowie Bowie, Yellow Brick Road, The Spazmatics, The Nancy Rayguns, Loveshack, Brazen, and Monroy all on the 3rd Street Stage.

“This November we’re showcasing some of the best acts Las Vegas has to offer. These bands are truly talented and have built a large local following; we are sure that visitors from all over the world will enjoy them just as much as we do,” said Jeff Victor, president at Fremont Street Experience.

Zowie Bowie| Zowie Bowie featuring Marley Taylor has fast become one of the most well-known acts in Las Vegas with a unique blend of today’s hottest dance, hip-hop, Top 40 and classic Las Vegas music. Zowie Bowie features the musical talent and unbridled energy of Chris Phillips, Marley Taylor and a high-voltage band that creates a sizzling and sexy sound that has become a Las Vegas mainstay. Zowie Bowie will perform Sunday, Nov. 18 and Saturdays, Nov. 10 and 24 from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.

The Nancy Rayguns| The Nancy Rayguns are more than just a cover band; they are a complete show with stage sets, music videos and comedy. Their mission is to rid the world of bogus music and to help the audience relive the 1980s with the best jams of that era.  The band, which consists of Kim Gone Wild, Iceman, Dig Dug, Howard Joneson and The Noid, will bring audiences back to the days of leg warmers and scrunchies with spot-on renditions of such classic hits like “Hungry Like the Wolf,” “Kids in America,” “My Sharona,” “Safety Dance,” “Lucky Star,” “Electric Avenue,” “It’s Tricky” and many more. The Nancy Rayguns will perform Mondays, Nov. 12, 19 from 6-9 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 26 from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.

The Spazmatics| From the creators of the Fabulous Boogie Knights comes The Spazmatics. All the awesome sounds, styles, and way cool dance steps from the 1980’s decade we’d love to forget. Complete with skinny ties, Brill-Creamed hair, and horn-rimmed glasses, The Spazmatics recapture all the best of the worst from the 1980s scene. Performing hits such as “Dancin with Myself,” “Video Killed the Radio Star,” “Relax,” “We Got the Beat” and “Hungry Like the Wolf,” The Spazmatics channel some of the 80s most notable performers in an unforgettable show. Outstanding musicianship combined with creative flair and style makes for an evening of pure energy and entertainment. The Spazmatics will perform Tuesdays, Nov. 13, and 20 from 7-10 p.m.  and Tuesday Nov. 27 from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.

Brazen| Formed in July 2009, the all-female rock cover band Brazen is a group of power musicians playing an array of some of the coolest rock & roll tunes in an electrifying stage performance that leaves crowds screaming for more. Band members have previously performed with notable acts including Cheap Trick, Ted Nugent, Jimmy Page, Cirque Du Soleil, Jersey Boys, and more. Brazen was voted Best Local Live Performers at the Vegas Rocks Music Awards Show 2012. Brazen will perform Wednesdays, Nov. 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 22 from 11 p.m. – 2 a.m. and Thursday, Nov. 29 from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.

Yellow Brick Road| Since 1997 Yellow Brick Road, a Classic Rock tribute band in Las Vegas, has been performing the music of supergroups such as Led Zeppelin, Journey, AC/DC, Rush, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Foreigner, Boston, and much more. Yellow Brick Road is best known for being able to replicate each artist they cover with great attention to detail and versatility. Several headline acts have attended or sat in as special guests during Yellow Brick Road shows and artists like Toby Keith, Sammy Hagar, Neal Schon of Journey, Eddie Money, Steve Lukather of Toto, and many more have shared the stage with the band. The band’s philosophy is simple: take the best music of all time, recreate it authentically, and have a good time doing it. If you want to hear your favorite Classic Rock music performed the way you remember it, or never got the opportunity to see these legendary groups in concert, Yellow Brick Road is a must-see experience. Yellow Brick Road will perform Thursdays, Nov. 8, 15. 22 and 29 from 7-10 p.m.

Loveshack| Located in the entertainment capital of the world, Loveshack carries the proud reputation of being the first known 80s tribute group in the country. Remember parachute pants, the Rubic’s Cube, and “The Breakfast Club”? Recapture the generation of new wave nostalgia with a live performance from Loveshack, the premiere 80s tribute based in Las Vegas. Performing all the great 80s hits including songs like “Don’t You Want Me” (Human League) and “We Got the Beat” (The GoGos), as well as many others from hit 80s artists such as Duran Duran, Madonna, Soft Cell, and New Order, Loveshack recreates hit songs exactly the way you remember them. Loveshack will perform Fridays, Nov. 9, 16, 23 from 11 p.m. – 2 a.m. and Friday, Nov. 30 from 5-8 p.m.

Monroy| Monroy takes you on a musical journey through the ’70’s, ’80’s, ’90’s and today.  As one audience member put it, “No matter what age you are, there’s a song for everybody!” Peter Monroy blows you away with his uncanny vocal renditions of artists such as Led Zeppelin, Journey, Guns -n- Roses, as well as one of his own compositions, “Again” from his new self-released EP Level 7. Peter Monroy Band features vocalist Peter Monroy, Guitarist Rog X, Dummer Kevyn Kelley on Bassist David Maddalon. Monroy will perform Saturdays Nov. 10 and 17 from 7-10 p.m.
