FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE HOSTS 5TH ANNUAL SALUTE TO THE TROOPS WITH SPECIAL PERFORMANCE BY GARY SINISE & THE LT. DAN BAND, OCT. 14

In celebration of America’s military service members, Fremont Street Experience will host the 5th Annual Salute to the Troops featuring a special performance by Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band on Saturday, Oct. 14, free of charge. Beginning at 7 p.m., guests can head down to the five-block entertainment district located in historic downtown Las Vegas for a memorable night of festivities including the Nellis Air Force Base Honor Guard presentation of our nation’s colors, singing of the National Anthem by Lt. Daniel Vargas and a full-length concert by Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band on 1st Street Stage.

Later in the evening, Fremont Street Experience will unveil an all-new Viva Vision video montage honoring the victims and first responders of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting, followed by a 58-second moment of silence as the names of the 58 victims are displayed on the screen.

Salute to the Troops honors all those who have sacrificed for our Nation’s freedoms. Sponsored by American Airlines, The Airpower Foundation, MGM Resorts International, Gary Sinise Foundation and USO Metro, Salute to the Troops is a multi-day celebration where wounded, ill or injured service members are flown on a special American Airlines charter flight to Las Vegas for an all-expenses paid experience of a lifetime.
