FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE EMBRACES CINCO DE MAYO WITH THREE-DAY CELEBRATION
Fremont Street Experience, the iconic entertainment district in downtown Las Vegas, will celebrate Cinco De Mayo with a three-day fiesta featuring an array of Latin artists. Starting on Saturday, May 3, the weekend will highlight traditional mariachi music and performances alongside contemporary Latin rock across all three of Fremont Street Experience’s expansive stages.
The festivities will begin at 12:00p.m. and run into the late hours of the night, featuring a variety of live entertainment. Latin artists that fans can expect to see include Claudine Castro, Equipo Imperial, Dez Hoston, Titicó and others, alongside fan-favorite Fremont Street Experience entertainment such as Zowie Bowie and Alter Ego.
As part of the free nonstop entertainment, there will be three headlining feature bands on Monday, May 5, including Mariachi Franco de Las Vegas, Banda Desierto and The Outlaw Mariachi. Kicking off on 1st Street Stage, Mariachi Franco de Las Vegas will perform at 12:00p.m., bringing a combination of vibrant mariachi music with traditional folklórico dancers. Then, at 4:00p.m. Banda Desierto will perform on 1st Street Stage. Fans will be able to catch them on-and-off the stage, as they roam the crowds performing on Fremont Street throughout the day. Finally, The Outlaw Mariachi will take to 3rd Street Stage at 9:00p.m.. Known for blending mariachi with American and Latin rock music, The Outlaw Mariachi bring an electric and versatile live performance to the stage, entrancing audiences from all musical backgrounds.
