FIORONI NAMED RAISING CANE’S OUTSTANDING REBEL OF THE WEEK
The senior tied for sixth place at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate
UNLV men’s golf senior Caden Fioroni has been named the Raising Cane’s Outstanding Rebel of the Week, the school announced Thursday.
The award goes to the student-athlete who turned in the best individual performance during the previous week of competition from Monday through Sunday as voted on by the UNLV Athletics Strategic Communications department.
Fioroni, a native of San Diego, led the Rebels to their first top-5 finish of the season as they tied for fourth place at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate. He shot a first-round 3-under 69 and a 1-under 71 in the final round to finish tied for sixth at 3-under 212 for the tournament.
