FIORONI NAMED PING ALL-REGION FOR THIRD TIME
The Rebel senior was one of 25 award recipients in the West Region
UNLV men’s golf senior Caden Fioroni was named to the PING All-West Region team for the third time in his career, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced over the weekend.
A product of La Jolla, California, Fioroni tallied team bests with his 70.81 scoring average, five top-10 finishes and nine par-or-better tournament scores. He carded season-low 54-hole scores of 10-under 203 at both the Mirabel Maui Jim Intercollegiate and Southwestern Invitational. Fioroni also tied a program-record low round at the Southwestern Invitational with a 9-under 62 in the first round.
Fioroni was one of 25 honorees in the West Region. Players across six regions garnered all-region accolades.
